Great storage devise fast and easy to install enough room to store many games or pictures or videos.

Installed in a laptop - kept the thermal pad. In combination with the effects of the thermal pad this drive runs extremely cool compared to the optane drive that was in it previously. The fan even runs less! Performance is great as usual for any NVMe drive.

The Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB has been an excellent storage upgrade with noticeably faster boot times, application launches, and large file transfers. Installation was simple in a standard M.2 slot, and the drive has run cool and stable under sustained workloads like gaming, video editing, and AI data handling. Sequential speeds feel very close to advertised performance, and overall system responsiveness improved immediately after migrating the OS and projects to this drive. I bought this in store on sale. I put in my friends PC for him. It works great, and the boot times are quick. Cant go wrong with a Samsung SSD.

Decided to upgrade my computer finally with a bunch of new parts. Got this SSD to replace my old reliable 2TB Samsung 960 Pro. So far, this 2TB 990 EVO Plus SSD has been working amazing. Everything is lightning fast now. Also, way faster than the 960 Pro, which of course is due to the age, but still amazing to see the speed differences.

Works great, good speeds for the price. Not much to say other than Samsung makes good stuff.

Bought an Alienware Aurora R16 from BB and wanted to add a secondary storage drive like the setup I have on the system it's replacing. This Samsung is perfect for me. It's fast, has enough open space to last me a couple of years (at least), and was super easy to install. And it was on sale just when I needed it to be!

So, I called a local computer/phone repair place about upgrading my Lenovo Thinkpad laptop hard drive. After they quoted me $179 labor BUT highly recommended the Samsung 990 Evo Plus, I decided to do it myself. It could not have been easier. I kept my primary drive and use this as my secondary drive. I watched a short YT video and pulled the bottom off my laptop, slid this hard drive into the slot, screwed it down, put the bottom back on, fired up the computer, used disk management to format the new drive and it's working better than I could have hoped! And buying it from BB was EASY PEASY, since it was the SAME price as Amazon, I ordered it for delivery and got it the SAME day, not 2(or more) days later. BB seems to be doing so much better at matching Amazon prices and being able to have the item the same day is GREAT! Now, I check BB BEFORE I make an Amazon purchase.

very good, very fast. Reliable too. I will say i was a bit silly and forgot getting ssds don't actually come with the m2 screws you usually need.

I have used this drive for about 6 months and have zero issues! I have used it in multiple systems and even closed a whole C: drive to it. The heatsink was very impressive in preventing thermal throttling. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to buy a 2TB SSD!

I ordered this M2 drive a s a replacement for a 1TB Western Digital hard drive because I needed more space. I have not yet transferred all the games to it nor used it much, but is seems to work well. I give the benefit of Samsung's good reputation.
