I am glad I replaced my old vacuum. The only irritation I have is the manual button that needs to be pressed to activate the roller brush. I was frustrated until I read the instructions on how to locate and activate the reset button. Who wants a vacuum that doesn't have a automatic roller brush. Other than that it picks up better than my last two purchases.

I went to Best Buy fully intending to purchase a Dyson. I was offered a demo of this Samsung model and I have to say I was incredibly impressed! It was really light, navigated well, and its cleaning capabilities were impressive. I took it home, hoping that it would stand up to "real life". It did. I really enjoy the detachable handle for cleaning stairs, baseboards, etc. - works really well in my car, too! My only challenge was initially with "driving" it. I wasn't accustomed to the roller-ball action, having used a traditional vacuum for my entire life. But, once you figure out the wrist action, it's a breeze to use. It's incredibly light, making it easy to carry it up/down stairs. For anyone contemplating a new vacuum purchase, I'd encourage you to consider this one.

Vacuum does not pick up well. On hard floors I still had dust on them after vacuuming. On carpet, I sometimes had to go over the same area a few times before it would pick up. Wand also does not pick up well. Brush roller on/off switch stopped working. Vac is quite heavy.

Love the cleaning power but it has a poor wheel design. Very difficult to push on carpet. Love the hand held feature

This vacuum compares favorably with Dyson at a lower price. It has great suction and a detachable piece that is great on stairs. I would recommend this vacuum to others.

Hi, I am using this vacuum since 3 years recently I saw a crack in hose in between front head with rotating brush and suctions motors. Wounding from where I can this spare part for my vacuum (SU12F70SA VU12F70SHAF/AA).

moves very easy the separate stick vacuum portion works great on stairs and especially in corners

It is a great vacuum that picks up dirt, dust and dog hair with no problem. It goes from my wool rugs to hardwood and tile without any adjusting on my part. I thought about purchasing a higher priced Dyson but glad I went with this vacuum.

Replaced my old Dyson with this new Samsung and so far so good.

The power switch doesn't stay on when pushed. I have to hold the button to keep the motor running, very annoying. Rather than return it, I decided to have it repaired by Samsung which turned out to be a big mistake. I have had it a month and it still has not been repaired and the runaround I have been getting is ridiculous. It seems to work very well other than that so if it can be repaired I would give it a higher rating.

I like how this vacuum works it hate how the vacuum turns. I don't know but it turns hard.

I would recommend this product. Very quiet compared to other vacuums. I actually enjoy vacuuming!!!

we tried everything to get to vacuum on multi types of surfaces. carpetting it worked wonderful, sucked tight to the hard surfaces and couldn't adjust anything. called about it. not helpful at all. machine went back to the store.

The design and construction of this vacuum is great. Very well made and easy to use. It turns well and is extremely easy to move around. When you power on the brush it pretty much just pulls the vacuum along and you follow. The detachable handle is cool, very easy to remove and instantly you have a stick vacuum. Both canisters are too easy to empty! Best of all it picks up more dirt than any vacuum I've previously owned. I never have to roll over the same spot twice to get dirt or dust. Has worked very well on both my tile and carpet floors.

I think that is other products that is cheaper and better

I have had this vacuum for just under a month. I have hard wood floors and area rugs in my apartment, the ability to turn the brush roll off for the hardwood floors so that the dust doesn't blow around is awesome! My rug in the bedroom has tassles - for lack of better word - on the ends, which did get caught in the brush roll, at that point the brush motor actually turned off. I pulled my rug out, pressed a tiny red reset button and was on my way! But my very very favorite part is the handheld vac. It completely detaches from the upright! So I have been using it to vacuum the dust on my baseboards, get in the corners and crevices of each room, and even getting all the junk under my couch cushions! Basically am super happy with this vacuum, and would definitely recommend it.

This is a recent addition to my home and I went out on a limb because there was a representative in the store that knew a lot about it and was willing to let me actually use it before I bought it. That shows me a lot of confidence in the quality of the product. I got it home and set up was really simple, I never even opened the directions. I didn't know how I would feel about not having any hoses to reach hard-to-reach places but I have since fallen in love with the detachable and vacuum. The wheel design is really intelligent because it helps me to get around corners and maintains its traction when I switch from carpet to hardwood. At the end of the day I really love Samsung products and I was surprised that Samsung makes a vacuum cleaner but not surprised that it was of such a great quality and value. This vacuum is replacing my Dyson.

I recommend this vacuum. It is so easy to vacuum when you can do it with the base unit then just pull off the handle and do corners or up high. This is better than Dyson or Shark and with the same suction. Samsung has done it with these vacuums. Great product.
