I was hesitant to buy this kind of laptop at first because I'm used to having a PC with so much leeway for downloading programs while the chromebook limits you to certain available apps that are compatible with chrome. I did a lot of research about this in trying to decide if it was worth it to give all of those options up for a generally virus free computer. I also was very enticed by the idea of it being a laptop/tablet. That was really the selling point for me. With that said, after having owned it for several months now, it is clear to me that chromebooks have a specific issue with auto-capitalization across the board. I'm talking ALL CHROMEBOOK SYSTEMS. I wish somebody had wrote this review before I bought mine because I wouldn't have bought it had I known that the system has had this issue for years and the new models haven't fixed it yet. For example: when you download apps like hangouts (or someone else on my forum mentioned that Facebook does the same thing for them) it will auto-capitalize Every Single Word In A Sentence Like I Am Doing Now, Regardless Of If The Auto-caps Is On Or Not. I'm writing this on my phone so I intentionally did that and it was just as difficult and annoying to do as it is to try to NOT do on my chromebook. People have mentioned in my forum that it has been happening for years with chromebooks and I bought this version which is super new so I'm surprised they haven't addressed it yet. I was able to run every program that I needed to online and off-line there was nothing you could not do, extremely high-quality finish and absolutely Amazing high-quality display on a par with retina screen displays.

I couldn't give it 5 stars, because I haven't had too long. Maybe after 6 months I could give a more detailed review. But I'm satisfied with my purchase so far and I can't complain

I got this for my freshman year of college. It was very light and easy to use, but eventually it would just shut off and not come back on. I was working on a paper for a class, luckily on google docs, and the device just went black. It was fully charged and would not turn back on after several attempts.

I was concerned after reading Chromebook information that it would not perform the way I needed it to. I have been pleasantly surprised. The Samsung Chromebook is able to do everything I am asking of it.

The hardware itself is great (the res. on the screen was amazing), but there is still a lot you can't do on a chromebook. You can have it as a secondary device

Instantly boots, touch screen very responsive, works wonderfully in tablet, tent, or laptop mode. Extremely light and beautiful design

The only reason I did not give it five stars is the absence of keyboard back lighting. If there was such thing as a MacBook Chrome Book, this would be it.

Very good in runs well! My only complaint is that is does have some trouble with internet from time to time, but all I have to do is wait like 30 seconds for it to reconnect again.

My first chromebook. Though it lost some windows features, I love the fact that it turns on like an Ipad, worked like a laptop and as advertised, this is less prone to virus

i bought this tablet so that i would not have to use my desktop or phone for most of my computer chores. it does make it easier to see as i have visual problems.

Would give 5 stars but the Chromebook plus had crostini support allowing Linux app support while the pro does not.

I love that it is not as big as my laptop. It is easier to use, not as heavy to carry, can function like a tablet and has all the functions I need.

I would definitely recommend it. It has organized the entire way in which I use a lap top, but the fact it has optional stylus, unbeatable.

Great screen resolution, plus the stylus and apps. 2 issues, it could use a better trackapd and low audio quality.

This computer is small and lightweight and makes it easy to work from anywhere. The screen is clear and the tablet function is great too.

Too much software is unavailable for Chromebooks. The updates have been trivial as if the developers think of it as a large phone. Sold after about 6 months. Solid build quality and reliable with plenty of hardware performance for what it does.

It has been a great resource to my daughter. She uses it for her schoolwork, and she uses it for every class. Great product.

this is what my daughter needed for school. It was surprisingly thin and proccesses loaded quickly

I am extremely satisfied with this computer and the functionality. I highly recommend this product.
