Purchased Open Box - Excellent but had to return

It arrived in a Best Buy box that was sealed. However, inside of that box was another box which had its seal broken. The laptop was missing the charger. Also, when I opened it, the Windows login screen had the previous owner's account still on it. Apparently Best Buy failed to factory reset the device. I did not have the password, obviously, so I could not use the laptop. I had to return it.

The 3/4" black area all along the bottom of the screen could have been put to better use. I'm keeping it for a good long while.

I was never told to watch out for this, apparently this happens with the newer, thinner computers because they are “skipping out on heavy parts” as the person at the help desk put it. I constantly flip mine into tablet mode to take notes and back to do things like code and write essays. I wish I would’ve known how common this was before I bought it.
