This phone has exceeded my expectations and so much better than my Galaxy 4 phone. Here are the benefits:
1. holds a charge much longer, can recharge using plug into to AC in just over an hour! This is a big deal.
2. the free wireless charging pad I got with it is very convenient. (However, be sure to monitor since some notifications will disable charging and cause to blue light to blink. Turns Green when charged).
3. With 4GB of RAM it does not hang like by Galaxy S4 did when multitasking apps. This is as much RAM as my Samsung laptop! It's a work machine the moves rapidly to the touch.
4. Just discovered today with the Health App that the back has an infrared touch place to monitor Heart Rate and Stress....no other device needed.
5. THE PEN ATTACHMENT IS AWESOME. Use for work and best of all it has WARNING ALARM when accidentally leaving stylus behind when screen goes off. This has already saved me repurchasing a stylus. I use the stylus for NOTES, GETTING SIGNATURES FOR WORK, WITH EASE.
6. pictures are terrific and two way camera of course.
7. communication: not only phone, but handles apps like Skype well.
8. So much more to discover on this phone, more than a phone, mini laptop and work device.
If I can recommend an app that makes use of phone well for work, it's called DRAGON and is free, turns a voice command capability into HANDS FREE text and reads all notifications, and is a personal secretary assistant for writing EMAIL, notes, alarms, Calendars, etc...all hands free.
Value, this phone is $100 cheaper than the Galaxy S6 and you get the stylus functionality and only miss a curved screen (no big deal). GREAT VALUE.

Have had the phone for a week and so far so good. Great screen and performance, easy to use and slimmed down version of touchwiz, 5.1.1 Android has been great. No removable battery or sd card isn't a problem for me but consider last year's model if you need those features. Wireless and fast charging are very useful. Also with the new design the phone feels good in hand. Highly recommend if you want a true flagship Android device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has all of the features that I wanted when I traded in my old phone. The thumb print login is fast and reliable. The battery life is excellent. The camera produces sharp and clear images. The screen size is just the right size. Writing on the screen is so easy. I don't have to search for a stylus because it is stored on the phone. I am very pleased with my phone.

Great phone. it's big so play with it befor you buy. The display is beautiful. It is fast. It charges fast and the battery lasts long. A case is a must. It is thin and slippery easy to drop with no case. The s pen is cool and if you don't want to use it you would never know it's there.

I am very happy with my upgrade to the Note 5. Battery life is surprisingly longer...typically down to 20% by end of day with active use including YouTube video watching which I rarely did with my S3. I don't often use the stylus, but am glad to have it when I do need it for a quick note. The camera is outstanding...better than all predecessor and peer phones. I've had this smartphone for several months and have not yet found anything that bugs me. Although I often recommend iPhones to "beginners", I love stacking the Note 5 up against iPhones whose owners think nothing can beat Apple products.

This phone is the best phone I have ever used, even iphones. I like the speed, s pen, screen size, ability to have 2 windows open at the same time. I just wish it had a removable battery and expandable memory.

I knew that my former contract would be up, and I began to research phones several months ago. I quickly settled on the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the Galaxy Note 5 as my choices. I had a Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3, previously. I chose the Note do tof the built in stylus for taking notes. The phone is fast and fun! It does every thing I wanted it to...and then some! I take notes when I meet with customers or when I create a grocery list. It has a large screen that I can watch videos with, very nicely. I'm very happy with my choice, with ATT, and with Best Buy.

Love the phone. Sound is great and the camera is very easy to use. I love the effects that the camera offers. Great big screen but it's not overly big, I have no trouble holding it and I have small hands. The S-pen is fun and very usefull to have during meetings. I love the fact that I can set the phone to black and white to help save battery. There so many things I love about this phone it's hard for me to put into words.

I reviewed this phone against the galaxy s6. I love the stylus on this one & the longer battery life. The camera is beautiful & fairly quick. It's user friendly & great sound quality. Sometimes it has a hard time connecting & disconnecting from the Internet but restarting the phone usually resolves it.

Purchased this phone for my 16-year-old son and he loves it! He really enjoys the amazing clarity and resolution of the large screen and the fast processing power. It really is an extremely nice phone; obviously a bit larger than the Galaxy 6, but not that much. The spring-out stylus is really nice, too!

I loved my Galaxy Note 3 and then one day it died...dead...black screen, nothing. I was camping and drove to the nearest Best Buy where I had to buy a whole new phone and because I love the Note I went for the Note 5. I love ALMOST everything about it. I do NOT love, or even remotely like, the fact that there is no microSD card. That card is the only reason that I still had all the pictures on my old phone. I do not use the camera for photography as I have 2 DSLRs but for cards and other important info. There is also no replaceable battery which only figures a little since the Note3 DID have one but replacing it did not resuscitate it so that was a wash. The only other thing is that it seems to want to be on WiFi. (see below)
However, I love the speed, I don't really know about the battery life because we are full-time Rvers and most of the time it sits on the wireless charger acting as a hot spot. Because we travel as much as we do I do not want WiFi on unless I know I am at a spot with sufficient speed to use it. Most campgrounds do not have it. But, if I have been connected to WiFi and have turned it off I will often find it back on and searching. Ergo: battery drain.
As for the other features-pen, large size, swiping, etc they are all why I have a Note or Android and they are all great. My 90 year old mother who has a hand-me-down iPhone from my sister is insanely jealous of me with all the Android features that are "absent" from iPhones. Ha!

Upgraded from an s4 active and I don't regret it one bit. It's definitely not quite as durable as the active but it's still a great phone. The phone is quick and snappy. Camera is great. Battery lasts all day with over 7 hours of screen on time.10/10 would buy again

Yes, you heard it right, this phone is a true productivity experience and pleasure to use. I'm one of those people who tested and used almost every device out there and always been critical in comparison to perfect device. When I got this phone was ready to be disappointed and kept trying to be just that. But what happened is a shocking realization that at last I'm holding a close to perfect device ever made so far. I mean from the minute you hold it just keeps growing on you . Design, looks, fitting , power, productivity and above all my satisfaction. Now that's been said! I just can't figure out why the heavens did Samsung left out removable flash storage?
