    Need a new handheld computer?

I needed a new phone because my old one used CDMA technology, which is being phased out next year. Best Buy being my go to for electronics, I visited their website and found the Samsung Galaxy S21 for $300 less than everyone else. We were scheduled to take a cruise, so I figured, why not jump on this deal now. The camera on this thing is amazing, but it really is a handheld computer. I still have a desktop at work, but this device makes life a lot easier, it even functions as a phone. Also, there's no more having the tech person transferring everything from one phone to another, it's now done with an app, Smart Switch. In and out in no time with very little contact.

Upgrade from S5 and decent enough.

I bought this as this was the latest samsung and the cheapest. I had been using samsung since the S Epic version (which I still have) and upgraded from the S5. Yes it was a long and good journey with the S5 and I still love that phone as it was flagship phone bar non. Never crashed, Was still fast enough for U tube etc, but the picture taking in low lighting and space for apps to download was severely limited at 16 Gb (really 15). SD card was used for books and storage of pics. Even then this is decent with no extra storage to be had and used 30 percent already, so see it as a problem to keep long term (more than 5 years). For that alone one needs the additional storage or capability added. Also the screens and navigation is lots different from S5, but intuitive. Battery life is better (battery size is bigger than S5) and cameras are better. You do not necessarily have to use flash in low light setting. And neither do you have to hold steady for picture taking to be complete in low light as with the S5. But apart from camera and GBs, I was completely happy with the S5. The quality is good too, for the price. You cannot tell plastic anything. Just use a quality screen protector and back case. Fast too. Chose this over the S20 FE as this had a faster processor, but better camera (slightly) and SD card in the S20 Fe. I bought it as it was 600 bucks, but if you have more to spend, I would suggest the S21 plus. Wish I had bought that one but couldn't bring myself to spend 200 more. Can buy an Active 2 watch with that extra.

As I learn more about the features of the S21 and how to use them I like it more than when I first bought it. I upgraded from the S10 and find the side placement of the buttons on one side of the phone much easier to use. The battery life, screen, and camera are all great! I do miss the curved edges of the S10 and I wish it came with a charger but my old chargers witch is also nice.

It's a great phone, once I got it to work. When I left Best Buy I was under the impression my phone was ready to use as all previous phones I had purchased were. I was mistaken. Previously I had always purchased my phones at a Sprint store. I thought I would try Best Buy this time. I found out on my way home that my phone was not activated when I left the store and it took a few hours and phone calls to Sprint/T-Mobile to get it working. They took me through it step-by-step. So, as for rating the phone, it is great. It is very quick and has a wonderful camera. It is easy to use and has a vast amount of storage...128GB. As for Best Buy? It would take an incredible savings for me to purchase another phone from them. I was handed the phone and told I was ready to go. No explanation of features or no test to see if it really was working. I should have requested a test, so I blame myself somewhat for not checking before I left the store.

    Best upgrade for galaxy S9

I upgraded from a galaxy S9 and let me tell you, this phone is blazing fast! Performance is amazing. Everything on the screen moves so fluidly. All my games are running with ZERO lag. Apps open right away, and the split screen feature is very helpful. I'm glad they killed the Bixby button. Bixby is still there but it's voice activated now which is way better. The cameras dish out gorgeous photos and stunning 8k videos. For all of you complaining about the plastic on the back I got news for you. I'm a mechanic, and all your favorite luxury car brands like Mercedes-Benz and Lexus use plastic parts in their vehicles but you keep paying top dollar for them right? It adds durability so really you don't need a big bulky case for this phone. Just slap a screen protector on it and enjoy the sleek lightweight design and sweet colors it comes in.

Great phone. Love the camera. The only issue with it was the SIM card had to be replaced, may have been just a T Mobile thing though.

This is a good phone. I'm glad I bought it. But I'm having to learn to like it. I was very much "soured" by the whole buying experience I received from Best Buy! I had a hard time getting the phone set up and received MINIMAL ASSISTANCE from Best Buy. I had to go back the day after I picked up the phone to ask for assistance in getting it set up. The people working at the station that day literally told me to go outside the mall, downstairs to the right, and go to the T-Mobile store to help me set up my phone. I thought that was pathetic! Thankfully, T-Mobile was professional enough to help me out. Even though I didn't buy the phone from them. But I should of!!! I don't expect to be back at Best Buy. I unfortunately signed up for their credit card to get 10% back in rebates or rewards or something. Came out to about $90 dollars worth. I'm thinking about forfeiting that money because I'd rather buy from somewhere else. So to wrap it up...the phone is a good phone. It does everything I hoped it would and more. But, I would not advise going to Best Buy if you're going to need ANY kind of service.

Finally decided to upgrade from S8 and I'm happy I did. I've had the phone for 3 weeks now and no regrets. Battery life is pretty decent. The screen is larger than I'd prefer but 6.2 is basically the standard these days. Not too bulky in weight. Sound is nice, takes a bit of getting used to the volume buttons on the right side of the phone. Happy they got rid of the Bixby button. Fingerprint scanner is nice but doesn't really work with tempered glass screen protector. Loving the three lenses that produce crisp photos in multiple light settings. Overall a solid phone.

I upgraded from the Galaxy 7 3G. I love this phone. It is a little larger than my older phone which was fine. Everything transferred from my old phone to my new phone without any issues (contacts, photos, etc.). Regarding applications everything transferred over but required a few tweaks with configuration (passwords, etc.). The display is nicer than my old phone and the build in camera is much better than the Galaxy 7.

This model S21 Samsung Galaxy was an upgrade from my S7, so needless to say, I needed some help in operating it since it comes with no instructions. First, I wasn't aware that starting with the S8 models, one needs to use USB-C wall plugs and charging cords in order to operate this phone. Then I had to learn that I could quickly tap the dark screen twice rather than press on the side to waken the face. Additionally, I wasn't aware that in order to answer a phone call, I had to swipe rather than click on the green indicator circle of a call. The phone now is so much easier to operate and enjoy since many questions have been answered by your very patient BB employees, who have been so helpful in explaining how to navigate my new smart phone.

Very good phone. Camera is amazing. Processor is very fast. Nice size, very good display. Surprisingly good sound quality on voice calls. I like that it is not overdone with preloaded apps, and you are able to delete many that you may not want. I was able to purchase the phone on sale, and for that price I think it's a decent value. But at full MSRP it (and most high-end phones, IMO) is not a great value.

I miss the 3mm aux port, but found a splitter/adapter online that allows for audio and charging at the same time through the C-charging port (I use this in my car). Camera is "fancy" as expected. I appreciate the size of this phone-it still stays in my pocket while having a large enough screen to do near anything. It's only a wee bit bigger than my old S8. Best of all it is a fully functioning phone. ;)

Only upgraded because of losing my S10, but haven't noticed any groundbreaking features from the S10. Also was slightly disappointed that the only color in stock was Phantom Gray which is little boring for me. Movements are faster and smoother and so far the battery life has been good.

Excited getting to know my Galaxy S21! So far I love the features of the On/Off, volume controls all being on the same side! Best of all, I never have to charge it during the day. WOW! It's a smooth operator! Thanks to Best Buy and to Edward, my sales advocate!!

Great phones, best buy made my purchase very seamless. They also provided suggestions that were very helpful for additional items to purchase with these two phones. I would suggest more people purchase online during these times. I also was provided much-needed information about the phones that frankly Samsung does not tell you unless you look it up online. The woman who helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful.
