After playing with the iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge I was torn, both phones were cool and I always had iPhones. I loved the screen/picture quality and camera way better on the Samsung phone. It also felt faster (faster processor) when flipping through the UI and going back and forth felt more natural. I took the plunge and got the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge phone and couldn't be more happier. I was able to easily transfer all my contacts from my iPhone over to the S7 Edge and it was a breeze from there. I haven't looked back. I also get a ton of compliments on my photos now on FB and Instagram, the camera is magic. If you're on the fence deciding iPhone or Galaxy S7 Edge, I recommend the Galaxy S7 Edge 100%! Check out some photos below I took with the phone while I was in NYC!

Came into Best Buy and of course I knew I was buying the phone. Right off the bat the customer service rep in a Samsung department near the cell phones and the TVs was very professional and just had me wait a second so he can get another sales rep to help me out. The sales rep that helped me out was very professional very courteous took his time to make sure everything was done correctly. I traded in a phone and he did the trade without any issues explain how much I would receipt for my trade and then applied it to the price of the new phone. Overall great experience always have very very very rare occasion that something go wrong at Best Buy. As for the device great device great use her ability no matter if you're a beginner or advanced user very easy to set up and very easy to learn very intuitive. Great design great feel overall very satisfied from the purchase experience to the actual device while at home.

Samsung gets a ton of points for display, OLED displays on Sammy devices are always top notch. The camera takes great shots and the auto focus is extremely fast. But, a phone with this much power needed for that screen, a good camera and all the gimmicky samsung trademark stuff just makes the experience sub-par. I read review after review boasting amazing battery life. This was some of the worst battery life I have experienced on a flagship phone since my LG Nexus5 (worst battery EVER!) Maybe I had a faulty device. Honestly, I think it was all the apps pre-installed that I COULD NOT uninstall!! How do you sell a phone and FORCE Facebook and other garbage BATTERY CONSUMING apps on the people buying your products? Samsung has the ability to be the BEST phone out there. Just stop adding all the Samsung versions of every Google app thats already natively a part of Android!! Now w/the S8 they added Bixby.... another Samsung version of an android app (Google Assistant) If your into gimmicks and tricks that make you go "whoa, thats cool" than this phones for you. If you are willing to trade battery life for unnecessary clones of every native android app than this phones for you. If you want a phone that is truly YOURS that allows you to uninstall ANYTHING you dont want on your phone than look elsewhere or learn how to unlock, root and rom.Myself, I no longer care to root/rom/etc. I prefer as close to stock android as possible with good battery life and things you actually NEED in a personal device instead of gimmicks you need to disable to get some quality battery life out of the darned thing! Otherwise,, the screen and camera are a go! The rest just makes using it too laborious and stuck to a charger of some sort be it wireless or wired your going to be using it A LOT!

The Galaxy7s Edge is everything I could have wanted in a cellphone and more. I chose an unlocked version and, I am using Straight Talk (Att) as my service provider. Activation was a breeze. This phone is a Cadillac as far as I am concerned. My former Galaxy s6 was pitiful compared to this one. Everyone was constantly complaining that they could not understand me,especially when it was on speaker. Not a problem with this s7 Edge. My husband noticed the difference immediately! The 12 mega pixel camera is fantastic! I LOVE THIS PHONE!

As my Summary goes... the Samsung galaxy S7 edge is the best Samsung Galaxy Phone yet! Perfect for touch and feel Vibrant colors.
I have been using this Phone for almost a month now. Battery life is almost 24 hours with decent number of Apps operating in the background (almost 20 of them). Don't need to carry my charger around with me anymore. Great camera (both front and back, you don't need instagram if you got this Phone ;) for filters !!! Great music and sound quality is good - especially the ability of this phone to adapt to your hearing volume. I love this buy and totally worth the price. Unless Samsung pulls S8 as a complete turnaround of all features, I believe the S7 edge is here to live a long time!!!

After a brain dead maneuver while decorating for Christmas, as I watched as my S5 drop from the upper foyer to the floor below, resulting in a broken phone, it was time to get a new one. I picked up the S7 edge at a good price, since it was on sale. First impressions is that this is a very nice phone. It is considerably faster than my S5. The battery life far exceeds the S5, with about 20% to 40% remaining by the end of the day. On the minus side is the fact that Samsung has jumped on the non-replaceable battery wagon. Previous Samsung phones had replaceable batteries. Perhaps it has to do with the IP68 rating, but I find this annoying. I'm guessing most people trade in their phones for the latest and greatest, but I tend to hold onto a phone longer than that. The phone is much faster than the S5, and the screen seems to be much brighter (if needed) than the S5. The phone seems a bit "slippery" with no case, so I would definitely recommend a case, even though this detracts from the looks of the phone. I love the wireless charging; just lay it down on the charger and your good to go. I purchased the unlocked version, because we'll be moving in the second quarter of this year, and I can switch carriers if some other carrier has a better signal where we're going. Right now I'm with Verizon. One word of caution is that with an unlocked phone, most of your Verizon apps will not work on an unlocked phone. Messenger is the only Verizon app I've found that works. If you do get an unlocked phone, make sure you use something other than Verizon Cloud to backup your data, since after activation, you can no longer recover from Verizon Cloud. Found that out the hard way. The edge feature is "meh". Sounds better than is is. All in all, I'm very happy with this phone. That may change in a few years when the battery will no longer take a charge.

I've owned the S7 Edge for about a month now and I am very happy that I decided to get it. I use it for personal and business. It looks very professional, especially with the titanium color. I use a transparent and thin case so as not too hide the beauty of the phone. The size is right for my hands and it's comfortable to hold. It is not wide like the iPhone 6s Plus or the S6 Edge +. The camera takes awesome quality pictures for a phone, and the apps and widgets are great. The home screen is not limited to the app icons. You can actually have a memo right on it that you can look at and edit immediately. This is useful for a task list, a grocery list, etc. The battery will last a whole day, but I recommend charging it in the middle of the day. Some apps sort of freeze so you have to close and reopen it to work again. The Edge screen will limit how you hold the phone, because every now and then you will find yourself touching the edge of the screen and thus affecting whatever you are doing. The internal storage is limited to 32 GB, so you better add an extra storage. Lastly, it's expensive. If you can live with these pros and cons, this is definitely your smart phone!

Samsung S7 Edge Unlocked, Best Phone Ever!

Let me start by saying this phone is amazing! I upgraded from a Galaxy S4 which was a huge improvement. This phone takes the best pictures, its super fast, and the screen quality is excellent. Ive owned this phone for a couple of months now and I can honestly say I dont have any complaints. I have service with Verizon, as soon as I bought it at best buy I drove straight to verizon and they popped a brand new free sim card in it and it worked flawlessly. The best thing is no contract with verizon, I was already way past due for an upgrade so switching phones outside of verizon was easier on my wallet opposed to picking one of their S7 Edges and having those surprise fees and being locked down to their CDMA network only. Now if I chose to do so I could switch over to ANY network I want. Total freedom with an awesome phone....what more could you want?

It's curved edges, screen size, battery life, camera analysis (both front and back), 32GB memory and an SD card you can use, as well as its operating system make this a an awesome purchase! As far as it being unlocked that was a smart move I think. I have been looking for deals different phone carriers had to offer, but I still needed a better device. Getting this unlocked, I could connect it with wifi from home, college, work and do all my work from there. That allowed me not to fall behind on tasks I had to do, and people I had to contact, while I was looking for a good phone carrier. Now that I have one, it's even better. Unlocked means no commitment, and I mean either way I would have been paying for it monthly, paying upfront was better. I have never been more satisfied with a phone!

After sticking to the Nexus series of phones for over 4 years, I was skeptic about switching to the S7 edge. I was pleasantly thrilled by the upgrade in terms of screen quality, camera (on par with my friend's iPhone) and battery.
The cons are - It is difficult for people used to single hand usage, The edge looks great but isn't functionally useful at least to me.

This is a great phone. Better processor and camera than the S6. Very easy to use. The unlocked version is where it shines. You don't need a specific carrier and can take it with you if you switch for whatever reason. You also don't get bogged down with all the pre-loaded stuff the others come with.

This is the 2nd S7 Edge I've owned, as the 1st one was dropped and cracked the screen. I loved the functionality so much, I bought it again. Camera is great and even iPhone users like my photos. Great display and battery life gets me through the day without any stress.

I had been looking at the Galaxy S7 Edge for quite some time, and after debating between silver and gold, I ended up picking the gold color.
The first thing that stands out is that curved 2,560 x 1440 resolution AMOLED display. It is incredibly pleasing to the eyes and its high resolution helps quite a bit with VR. You might be annoyed when watching videos though - the curved sides reflect light off of them, so you might see those reflections when watching videos. This didn't bother me too much, but it might annoy you, so keep that in mind.
The battery, at 3,600mAh, is pretty large and should be just fine for a day of use, but do not expect more than that. Thankfully, Samsung's quick charge can take the battery from dead to full in a little over an hour and a half.
The home button doubles as a fingerprint sensor. While I think the sensor is plenty fast, I do not like how, similar to the iPhone, you need to press the button and keep your finger on the sensor in order to unlock the phone. It would have been better to just rest your finger on the sensor and the phone unlocks, but this is a nitpick.
The main camera is a 12MP sensor, and it takes great photos during the day and okay photos when in darker environments. The selfie 5MP camera takes detailed-enough selfies and I like the wide-angle photos it takes.
Software-wise, the phone runs Samsung's TouchWiz atop Android, and this is the biggest sticking point for some people. If you've used Samsung phones in the past and liked the software, you won't find much to complain about here. If, on the other hand, you are not a fan of Samsung's software implementation and prefer stock Android, this does not change your mind.
If you are a fan of timely software updates, the GS7 Edge will not be your first choice. If you do not like TouchWiz, the GS7 Edge will not be your first choice. For everyone else, there is much to like about the phone, from the looks to the pictures to the processing package to everything else in between. I highly recommend the phone for anyone looking for one of the best Android smartphones around.

This phone has tremendous battery life. I've had it for over a month now and I'm average about 6 hrs of screen on time. It charges incredibly fast too. The performance has been great. I haven't noticed any lag or slow downs yet. Animations have been smooth all the way. The camera is also great. Like I said, I was contemplating on this or the s8 and I'm glad I went with this.

I got this phone during their anniversary sale for a really good price, and overall I am very happy with the quality of the phone. Since it was unlocked, all you have to do is put in your sim card and the phone is ready to go. I never really find myself using the "edge", which can get kind of annoying with a screen protector/case. The screen is one of the best features, it can get really bright, and has amazing vivid colors that really make images pop. The camera is also amazing, one of the best cameras on a phone.

In terms of build quality and camera, you cant beat Samsung. This is the best looking phones I've ever owned. I bought the silver.
The camera is great as a simple point and shoot. Every pic looks beautiful! If you're a photography buff like my wife youll probably appreciate the advanced features in the camera app. She was very impressed by the aperture.
Ive been using it for a week. Very grateful Samsung allows external sdcard slot. I put in a fast 128 gb card. It sucks so many other phones make you pay a ridiculous amount more for extra storage.
With a large screen you worry about being able to hold onto it and type. But with the curved screen youre getting a beautiful 4k screen with no bezel. I don't have giant hands and Im able to type one hand.
I do recommend a case. Not just for protection but it provides better grip and prevents your finger from tapping the edge of the screen accidentally. Its really my only complaint. Ive had it for over a week and couldn't be happier!
I think the price is pretty fair for a phone thats about a year old.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 EDGE is the best phone I have ever had. It is fast, the screen is easy to read in bright sunlight and it takes beautiful pictures and videos. The phone has a good size screen. It will take a 256 SD card; that is the size of some hard drives in computers. The battery lasts all day and depending on your use, it will last even longer. This Samsung phone has a battery saving program that reduces the battery drain and will last even longer than you could even imagine. Other Samsung phones I have owned, I have had to buy extra batteries to carry with me so that I could get one days use from the phone. I am really impressed with how long the battery last, above the rest of the great things this phone is capable of doing. It is thin, lightweight and easy to carry anywhere.
