I loved the 8 in Lenovo and wanted to stay with that brand but the deal on the Samsung was too hard to resist. It's a great tablet. I wanted to have front speakers like the Lenovo and this one has them. All in all, a great deal.

Needless to say, I spend as much time on it as he does. Everything works flawlessly with my wi-fi @ home. The first time connection was a breeze. It did have to do several updates to bring all of my apps up to current. However, they easily did so in the background while I was playing with our new toy.

Hubby like it, but ended up trading in for an IPad

But after he played with it a bit and researched it, he opted to trade it in for IPad Air. Largely he was concerned with what he wanted to do with it -- which included using a lot of photography apps. Those apps weren't as good in the Android world.
