Bought a 8" samsung galaxy 4 tablet from Best Buy. 3 weeks later it wont hold more than a 5% charge even when plugged in.

I got the tab 4 the day after it was released. After playing with it a couple days, here is my impression. The screen is clear but still has 1200x800 resolution so it is not the best, but not the worst either. It is clear enough to watch movies and still get a decent viewing angle and picture. It has a quad core processor that makes it quick to load web pages and open apps quickly. It also has multiwindow which is helpful when you want to watch a movie but also have a chat on FB. This tab also allows multiple user accounts and offers a kid's account too. This makes it economical for families because now you only need 1 tablet and each person can customize the tablet to his or her tastes. The kid mode allows parents to prevent access to inappropriate websites and apps, and also from kids making in app purchases without parental consent. Like most Android tablets, you can expand the memory using a micro SD card up to 64 gb, leaving plenty of space to store movies, music, apps, etc. Android 4.4 KItKat took some getting used to and Samsung got rid of the menu button and replaced it with a "Recent task" button instead. I find this annoying because now I have to try and navigate around apps to find the menu, whereas before I could just hit the menu button and would easily access what I needed. The Galaxy tab 4 8.0 is a good midlevel tablet, but if you really want great resolution on the screen, then you will need to upgrade to the Tab Pro 8.4. That has much better resolution. But if you are looking for a good entertainment venue then this is perfect. Bigger than the 7 inch version and smaller than the 10.1, it is easy to hold and won't require a stand to prop it up.

I know there are better tablets out there on the market but for the price and features you really cant beat this. I hate the fact it takes too long to charge and that the battery life is a little less than I am used to but overall this is a good tablet. First, there is the ability to multitask, it comes with samsung translate and has a good screen. I really cant complain about screen resolution at all. For the price and everything that comes with it, including kitkat, I would recommend this for sure. I would give it a 4.5 even though I had a few problems at first with setting up and getting the perks but the customer service team seemed helpful got me set up.

Very nice Tablet. The screen is sharp and crisp. Portable and lightweight.

If you love android systems you'll love this tablet. Imagine your android cell phone being 4x bigger. The only thing I did not like was that it did not have flash capabilities for pictures. I did end up returning this one and got the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 4 8.4 that does have a flash. It's best for my needs, but if you can life without flash this product is great for its price!

This was a gift for my dad who is not tech friendly. He likes playing games on it and it is very user friendly.

i the only problems i have about it was the speaker and the camera the speaker is on the back but i usually just use a Bluetooth speaker. and the last thing is the camera which i do not use cause my phone camera is so much better. so by the tablet and use a Bluetooth speaker and just use your phone has a camera.

This Samsung unit is great. Nice size, great picture, easy to us and most of all, the wife loves it for the features.
