I'm not a heavy tablet user, but I really like the price/performance of the Tab A (enough that this is my second one purchased). It's powerful enough to do anything that I'm trying to do, for half the cost of an iPad. And, it has expandable storage, which makes a BIG difference. No issues so far. Interestingly, the battery on the new version lasts a lot longer than the old ones.

I have to be honest...at first I wasn't sure I liked all the ties to Google, creating a Google account, etc. But once I was up and running, I find it very useful as a book reader and web browser instead of sitting at a desktop all of the time. The display is clear and bright and has good color. The screen size is perfect for reading digital books, which is mainly why I bought it. I especially like the external SD card slot, which is where I store most of my digital books, pdfs, etc. I am completely satisfied with the Samsung 10" Tab A tablet for my limited needs.

I was needing to upgrade from my IPad 2 (1st series) and I didn't want to spend 3 times the money to get the new IPad Pro, so I started the sometimes confusing process of reading review after review of all the different tablets to get the best tablet for the money to meet my needs, and wow there really are a lot of good, bad, encouraging and discouraging reviews out there. So after all of the research I had to narrow it down to what I needed the tablet for and what features I wanted most . I mainly use a tablet to surf the web, keep up with all the sports news, send emails, watch you tube videos etc... I don't use it for games or face book, Twitter, and I don't take pictures or videos with it, or download a bunch of apps so 16GB is perfect. Enter the Samsung 10.1 Tab A.... Great picture, great size, fast processor, solid build, and a great price considering what all the other tablets cost. Now compared to my old IPad 2 this thing is so much faster, the quality is outstanding and I'm very satisfied with it. The Android OS is simple to use and easy to get used to. Don't get me wrong I love the IPad IOS but I absolutely used it way past its time, and this Samsung Tab A does everything I need it to do , fast and in great quality, and at over half the cost of the new iPads.. Give it a try, it will do so much more than I use it for, my daughter uses one for her college work and she loves it... I would recommend.

Bought this to replace an older unit that would no longer charge correctly. Love the larger screen and large additional memory available in this unit.

Great camera, super fast, awesome amount of memory and HUGE!

This is my 2nd Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Stepped up to the Tab A from the Tab E. Easy to set up and use. More than enough memory and ability to add memory card. Camera's and video high quality. I use mine with a keyboard and mouse and no longer use my laptop. Great for both work and home. Good sound quality for both music and watching movies.

I wanted a tablet that I could download apps onto that I no longer wanted to take space on my cell phone. This device has worked out very well. The screen is the perfect size for viewing movies and videos; even gaming. Pictures are clear and beautiful. The battery power is long lasting. It is easy to use and fits nicely into my bag. I carry it everywhere.

I absolutely love that it is a giant version of my phone :) I set up my home screen just like my phone, so it is handy having everything in the same place for the times on auto-pilot. The resolution is great, doesn't lag when loading or using apps, and battery is hearty. The camera isn't as fabulous as the phone, but I rarely use it so is not a big deal to me.

Easy to use, great look, nice to watch movies on. If you are looking for a good tablet, this is it.

I very much enjoy using the Samsung Galaxy Tab A: it's responsive, large enough to read with, yet small enough to carry in a (large) purse, and has all the features I enjoy. The camera works well, the speakers are good, and it was affordable. If I lost it today, I'd buy another one tomorrow. Very sound purchase.

I started my tablet shopping looking for a replacement to an older table that wasn't able to run the apps I use most. I ruled out the Apple tabs cause you couldn't expand the storage and the cloud storage is only good with wifi. I wanted an Android. Through my research I found that Samsung makes some of the best android tablets. Through my research I narrowed it down the the Galaxy Tab S2 and this A 10.1. The Tab S2 has slightly faster process and screen resolution, and ram. But cost a bit more. I decided to go with the Tab A 10.1. And do not regret it at all. For the cost I have a bigger screen size. My wife has a iPad Air 2. We've compared the screen quality and they are extremely close. I think the Samsung is a bit brighter and the iPad has just a slight edge in crispness. But we both agree that they are very close. The Tab A 10.1 has great performance and I've not seen any slowdowns. This is a solid tablet with great screen quality. I would suggest people take a look at this device if your shopping of a tablet.

I like this tablet. It's like having a laptop without the size. I purchased a bluetooth keyboard case for it and now I use this more than I use my laptop. It has Microsoft office installed and I am able to download and watch my movies from a decent size screen. I ended up buying a second one for my boyfriend because I liked it so much and he loves it too. I can sync all my Samsung products to this. I would definitely recommend.

HUSBAND LOVED IT SO MUCH WE BOUGHT A second one to give to our adult son.. has many features, fast load, lots of storage easy downloads, has many amazing features and easy to figure out, and use. Big enough for husband to read & still tech enough for Son to love and use daily.. with the help of my Cedar Park, Tx BB I made the perfect purchase.. Thanks to all

Absolutely so much better than the Kindle Fire tablet this tablet replaced. It's fast, nice big screen, easy to use. I couldn't be happier.

I've had this tablet for a little over a year now. It still works great. Plenty of memory and speed. Cameras are a little awkward to use because of the size of the tablet, but still good cameras. I use it everyday for so many things and it has lasted with no problems. Charges quickly and keeps a charge for a long time.

I love this Samsung tablet. It has a long battery life before needing recharging and is great for all of my needs, from taking pictures, to surfing the internet and using it to skype and play games. It has great storage capability and excellent pucture quality.

I love this table because it is larger then the average tablet. Very easy to use and set up.

My wife has a new I pad pro, but I'm an android guy. For a third of the cost, this pad seems to have do everything you could ask. The screen quality and graphics are actually outstanding, and upload of pictures, websites etc. are very fast. I added 128 G of memory, so storage will never be a problem. Battery life is also excellent. I have zero complaints.

All apps and info migrated easily. Nice screen. Great colors. Easy to use. Would buy again.
