I decided to purchase a tablet because I grew tired of playing games on my phone while everyone else was on their tablets. My phone is an Android and since I'm comfortable with that I decided on the Galaxy Tab A. It's a great little tablet for playing games or the various social media apps and it's compact size fits in my purse if I want to take it with me. My only complaint is that it only has 8GB of storage and I very quickly ran out of space so it couldn't update. A microSD card has solved that problem and I couldn't be happier with this tablet.

I bought this tablet to replace a Nexus 7 that no longer reliably charges. I purchased a 128GB memory card to install in this tablet. It has 8GM ram and Lollipop Android. It constantly notifies me that it is running out of space, in spite of moving the only two apps I have installed to the sd card, Real Racing 3 and the Facebook I need to log into RR3. When I go to the Smart Manager to free up space, it offers me the only two things I use to be deleted. I can't move anything else to the sd card. From what I can find, it appears Samsung will not offer any upgrades to the Tab A 7 system so that the additional memory can be used properly. My old Nexus 7 has Marshmallow. I am disappointed that a newer tablet would not be able to use an operating system that could utilize additional storage.

I like this small tablet, It fits in my pocket very easily and does a great job for the things I needed it for. Holds a battery charge well. easy to use.

I imagine this would be good for any age but I gave this to my 8 year old for Christmas. Thank goodness I got the 2-year replacement insurance because sure enough, she dropped it after she took off a case just a few months after Christmas. She still loves this tablet and it does everything she needs.

Plenty fast & I just got it as to keep around the TV so I can browse the internet while watching TV. Don't need alot of storage but with the SD card slot, more can be added & plenty of it with maxing at 32gb, I believe. Great price & especially found at an "open box" price & it works like brand new.

Picked this up in may 2018. Very nice. DOD 2dy, September 2018 is the updated model with the newest speeds and such. I grabbed one up quickly because I really like this one so much but some downloads need higher operating system and things of that nature. I'm looking forward to getting the new one with a slightly larger screen and a bit more quickness. Either or Samsung Galaxy has a great pad. I used to be iPad only. Things change and someone lucky in my family will receive this one when the new one is in my hands

Love it. Perfect size and power for what I needed. Very happy with purchase. Amazing screen, very responsive. Easy to navigate. Would buy again! Actually I did, now have 2 of these!

This is a great little tablet I use for work and it definately suits my needs. However I do wish the internal memory was more because they system already uses about 4gb. Nonetheless, it still is able to hold much more memory on an external micro SD card, which i put all my documents on. The tablet i perfect to watch movies and small for you carry with one hand. This tablet is essentially like an oversized phone. I do recommend if you need something small to browse the internet and minimal apps to be loaded on the device.

Only flaw is if you wanna use mainly for gaming I don't recommend. It handles some games. Everything else works great. I use it to stream movies off my home network. Small enough to fit in my pocket. Even with folio case by samsung.

if you are a student and you need to type documents on the go, read ebook and download stuff to your tablet, then this is not a good tablet for you. The screen is badly blurred that hurts your eyes when reading PDF. the low memory won't let you store stuff in this tablet, I downloaded some PDF, 3-4 games from the store and the memory run out. besides, this low specs tablet won't perform well 2-3 multitasking. Good side, it has a pretty long battery life that you can watch YouTube for 3-4 hours, pretty cool if you have kids.

I had a 8 inch samsung and it was very reliable, I just want to own a second one so I can continue work while I charge the one with low battery, so I choose a 7 inch one just to have one with different. I like it more than the 8 inch one being llighter to handle.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 is a very nice little android tablet. The battery lasts reasonable long and is quick to charge. It lives up to Samsung quality, like their phones and other devices. The screen picture quality is excellent. One drawback is that it won't recognize 5 Gig wifi speed, only 2.5. It's still reasonably fast but if your wifi signal is 5G it won't find it. It will run most of the android apps available but I recommend using TFT card with it.

I'm no techy, but I think this tablet is a good buy. However, the 8Gb is a little small & runs out quickly when adding apps, so you have to buy an SD card & store apps on that instead of the internal memory.

I bought it for my daughter who is going in grade 3 Pro: price, features and screen quality. You can do almost everything as a "more" expensive tablet. Memory is low but there is a micro SD slot to add more, which I did, as the applications take almost all the space very quickly Cons: not super intuitive to use (maybe because I was used to iPad). But my daughter was able to navigate pretty quickly. She is even using it as an alarm clock. We were able to copy some of the musics stored on my iMac easily.

This is a great little tablet. I've always leaned toward the "other" type of device (ios), but I decided to give this a try. I put movies on an SD card for the kids to watch in the car, and it works great for that. Buy a 128gb SD card, and it has a lot of space on it! And, it is easier (in my opinion) to load files on to. The kids (9 & 12) use it all the time. They've never used anything other than ios, but this was not problem for them (or me) to pick up and start using. I would certainly buy another one!

Got a great price on this item during the holidays. Very powerful for such a small device. Great for browsing without having to carry around a laptop from room to room.

My granddaughter wanted an Ipad, but since she broke the one she got two years ago, I didn't want to spend that much money. Not much memory on this one, but for a 10 year old, it'll keep her in check. Pretty unit, she's really happy with it; and it will take a memory drive if she has legitimate need for more memory. I told her I'd get a better one in two years if she doesn't break this one! Screen resolution is very good, easy to use. I'm a big fan of Samsung products, so the choice was easy too.

After using my tablet i liked the size and the easy way to navagate to my my different apps. Its light weight not to big but small enough to place in my work briefcase

This Samsung tablet is amazing it runs fast and smooth and has a very clear picture it does everything you need and the battery life can last for hours

I bought this tablet for my mom, it has excelent picture quality, very fast, all apps work very fluently, battery life is very good, i highly recommend it
