I'm a recent apple phone and watch convert, so my review is based on my experience of using both products. PROS this watch has pretty much all the same features the apple watch does. It's way more stylish than the apple watch. I've recieved many compliments on it. The watch faces are far more customizable. I can change them as often as I want and there are literally tons of options to choose from. Apple offers very few. Battery life far surpasses that of the apple watch You can do QI charging which is pretty rad. CONS Quality still kinda sucks. The rose gold finish has chipped off in several places and now silver is showing though. I was really disappointed in this, and I'm not exactly a mountain climber or anything. Just everyday wear and tear. Watch bands are way harder to change than the apple watch Overall, I like this watch better than the apple watch, but I'm really disappointed in the quality. I never had an apple watch lose its finish.

Wife wanted a watch that would count her steps. Wanted to give her more that would work with her Samsung Note 8. Took her shopping to try it on. Though a bit large, she liked it. Happy it was on sale and bough it for her right then. She loves making the watch faces match her clothes and uses the Health tools. She intends to use Samsung Pay with it. Too bad it doesn't have the MST like my Gear S3. She envies my capability to pay at swipe only terminals. Sad Samsung didn't keep the MST technology in the newer watches. Happy she likes her watch so much.

The features are awsome, and the color is perfect. Seems like this was made just for ladies. The other styles seemed to bulky. Glad I waited.... ...

Too many features to describe.... I love that I can add apps to the watch like Tide Charts that are customized to my own needs. Easy to use and change order of apps on the watch. You can answer phone calls and texts without the phone being out which is a great feature when u cant get to ur phone right away. Charge lasts awhile but I just put it on the charger each night. I like that I can change the straps to a different style to change the look the watch. Face is big but not too big... I adjusted to it easily.

Caught my eye since I first seen it in the Rose gold style , I watched YouTube videos for reviews and options available I went to best buy in store to check it out and it looks even more amazing in person. I'm always on the go and as a mom this makes my life so much easier I love how you can talk through your watch without having to take out your phone out your purse ,pocket etc. I love the satisfying silent click of the rotating bezel For me it was worth it. If you considered on getting a smart watch, I definitely suggest strongly considering the Galaxy Watch for its battery life alone. Elegant, comfortable, great battery life, easy to use and customize. 42mm is large but not overly so. Highly recommend.

Been waiting to get this watch for the longest time and when I finally got it, I was so excited! I have a small wrist, so the 42mm watch face was perfect and didn't look too bulky. The midnight black design made it sleek and great with every outfit I wear. The features of the watch are awesome. It gives me all of the notifications that I allow from my phone, so I never miss anything important. The battery life is also great. Got the watch during a sale, so the price was affordable, too.

I love Samsung and have the S10 Plus. I previously had the Gear S3 which I loved except for the fact it was too big. I just recently when I got my phone got the Galaxy Watch and it's as good as the Gear S3 but smaller. I had the classic in the S3 and this has the buttons more like the Frontier and I love it! I can still answer calls and talk and get text and other stuff. I recommend this watch and it's smaller and looks much better. I bought a new band and I am good to go.

Purchased this as a present for my wife to replace her 3 year old Galaxy watch. She loves it. The rose gold looks much better as a women's watch and the new style watch band is much easier to change out for more stylish watch bands. As far as functionality is similar to earlier galaxy watches with a clearer picture and faster performance. As a fitness tracker is excellent, only missing the EKG performance of the Apple watch, but that is its only missing piece.

I was never a watch person but thought I would try it our after seeing family members with an apple watch. I really enjoy it. Perfect size and really well made. I would suggest to replace the silicone bands right away with leather/silicone (very easy to do). It made it much lighter around the wrist for me. You can watch videos on cool features online. I have an android phone.

Great watch. Battery lasts a long time (a few days before charging). Alot of godd features. Easy to use.

After using the 42mm Galaxy Watch for about 10 Weeks, I am very comfortable with it and my purchase choice. I have been wanting to upgrade from my ORIGINAL Gear Fit for several years but could never find a strong reason to change. When the Galaxy Watch was announced I decided to Jump Now, after waiting for initial batch reviews and first sale price. Operator interface and display are excellent, easy to learn and now is very natural. I had thought all the watch faces available was a important function. I quickly found the default watch faces were more than enough for me, and I settled in on one that is not one I would have thought to be my main choice. I have downloaded a few others but deleted them soon after. Battery life is great for my use. I charge every 2nd morning, diagnostics indicate I can get almost 4 days before charging. Heart Rate Tracker seems accurate and consistent with other devices. I only use manual tracking, auto sends to much data to the S Health app on my phone. Step tracker seems within 1-2% versus physical count of steps on longer walks at a steady pace. My issue is there seems to be a minimum of about 10 steps to count as activity. SO, trips to the water cooler, coffee pot or rest room don't count for steps or activity. Sleep tracker is at best a cute NOVELTY. I liked using the one on the gear fit, and one of my reasons for upgrade was to get automatic tracking instead of manual. Go to Bed and Awake times seem accurate with a few minutes. My issue is it QUITS tracking and gets confused 0-4 times a night. It seems it has a 25 minute verify status window. A few nights a week it may work OK , then on others, a take a bathroom break or roll over will cause it to go off into La-La land and not track anything for 1-5 multiples of 25 minutes. This results in multiple sleep segments making long term tracking of sleep efficiency worthless.

Honestly the watch looks great and cool. But biggest reason I got it was to motivate me to work out. Was worried that I wouldn't want to, and of course its up to me to do it, but the fact that it tracks steps, calories and has other features that can help guide you (like how many cups of water you've, calories, etc) helps you stay motivated. And it looks like a regular watch so it's good look on men

I purchased this specific item because I was interested in owning a watch with all the smartwatch features while still looking like a normal watch. I am pleased with this product. It has a great selection of workouts for fitness tracking, and a multitude of home screen designs to suit any person's preference. The only downsides is that the battery life could be longer and they could also offer more apps. I think it is a great alternative to the Apple Watch and is more inclusive, as it is compatible with Samsung and Apple. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I upgraded from a Gear Sport and got this one because I really wanted the speakerphone part of it. I dont always have my phone on me, but it's usually within bluetooth range, so when someone calls, its super convenient to answer using my watch and then grab my phone to continue the conversation. The only downside with Tizen is that it doesn't have a lot of options for apps. Like it would be nice to have the Facebook Messenger app so I can look back on recent convos on there. But it's not a big deal. I know it's still new, so I just have to be patient. Also, Bixby is sooo much better than S Voice but it's still no Google or Siri. Again, it is still fairly new lol. I originally wanted the Gear Sport/Galaxy Watch to track my workouts. It does okay for the most part. It isn't 100% accurate. It is kind of tedious if you select each individual exercise that you do, but I just choose Other Workout or Elliptical if Im on my bowflex at home and track it that way. It definitely isnt like my TomTom Spark but it has so much more to it than just fitness tracking, so it's okay. My sister and both of our parents have Apple products, so they all have the Apple Watch and there are some things I can do on my watch and some that I can't do but they can. But I like how the Samsung watches are round faced like a real watch. So it all just comes down to preference and what phone you use. Samsung phone cannot be used with an Apple Watch but an iPhone can be used with a Samsung watch.

I was alittle skeptical about getting a smart watch at first. There are so many out there. I have a samsung galaxy 8 plus phone. So I figured I would try one from the same manufacturer so there would be less issues with compatibility. Takes a bit to learn how to use it but now that I know a bit about it. It is a great product so far. Have not had any issues. The battery last a long time for what you can do with it.

Much better than i expected. Easy to use. Battery life getting 4 days plus. Thousands of great watch faces to pick from. Was going to get the Apple seris 4 but my Iphone broke and was going to cost $350 to repair. Was not going to spend $1000 for new Iphone X. Brought a new android.and works great with watch. Keep in mind Galaxy works with android and IOS. So if I get a great price for a new I phone no problem.
