I wasn't looking for anything spectacular just a replacement fit-bit and something I could connect to my phone if need be. Everything works well, easy to set up. My only SMALL disappointment is the battery life BUT! that's not a big deal for me!

LOVE the Samsung Gear!

Wow. I love this thing. I've had it for a little over 2 years and it's still ticking, which is rare for me because my body seems to eat up batteries. I love the variety of faces you can download. It checks your bp, heart rate and you can even HANG UP PHONE CALLS! You can set a message to send a text back to the person. It would be awesome if you can answer the phone, but I guess that would be additional. I have a super small wrist, so the size of the watch is better for me than the bigger ones. It does everything I need. You really should try it with the android. I personally have a Samsung phone.
You can order additional watchbands, but I have not had much luck with them. They seem to fall apart.

I love that it can chart my sleep, my pulse, my blood Glucose, my steps, my O2 sat, and all that easily with no fuss! I love that I can change the face as I want to, all in all, it's a great watch/fitness tracker. Charges fast too!

I'm writing this on behalf of my wife as I purchased it as a gift. She loves the watch except for the battery life being less than advertised, and the pink band getting discolored. With that being said, all the pink bands that she's had made of this material tend to fade over time, and isn't manufacturer specific.
As far as it being used as a smart watch for notifications, and as a fitness tracker, it works very well. Paired very easily with a Galaxy S5 and S7. Much better value than buying some of the other fitness tracker only devices on the market.

I like the design
Like that it gets me moving and counts my steps
The HR is surprisingly accurate (when compared with the gym walking device) but you cannot measure heart rate while you arr moving. Having to stand still for measuring HR kink of defeats the purpose.
Finally, after wearing it for three months, I noticed that my screen is cracked. Im not sure how or when it cracked, as it is not bery much visible, but it would be good if Samsung would provide us with some screen protection add on (like we have on cellular phones) to protect from falls.

I love how the fitness band keeps track of all my steps, heart rate, exercise and I still get all my notifications from my phone. My favorite feature is using my band to find my phone or using my phone to find my band.

I absolutely love this watch, it is extremely easy to use, the app is great. It is not as accurate as I would like for it to be. When running on a mile track, it did not cover the area as I thought it should. I was cut short and to look at the area that was covered, instead of an oval track, it was zig zag lines that cut through the middle and sides. (looked like a childs scribble). It looks great, and I am happy with the heart monitor, and the fact that I can control many areas of my phone with the watch.

I love having a smart watch that also has a heart rate monitor and all the other features of a fitness tracker. The size is perfect for a woman and it's much lighter feeling than my Garmin VivoSmart that I had. You can reply to text messages on it with preselected general texts, not full keyboard so don't expect to be able to send a full on message like the other Samsung watch. But it's fine for me. I don't need all that. Plus I added a few reply texts that fit my situation so I can reply with things I would likely say most. The battery days faster than my Garmin, but a long shot, but it's also a lot more high tech and has the LED screen so I'm sure that takes up a good chunk of the battery.

Has some great features overall but somethings keep it from being top dog. The look and feel of the activity tracker is excellent, couple that with the ease of use makes this a great starter product for those interested in making this there first activity tracker.
The only major downsides is the battery life seems to be a bit shorter than one would expect and depending on your phone sync issues are apparent after initial use. Other than that the product is wonderful and comes with recommendations.

I have done a full blown exercise routine with this tracker on yet as I bought it solely to track my steps for a challenge at work. Another primary reason why I bought this tracker vs another brand is bc I have a Samsung phone and wanted to use a tracker with the same technology.
One thing I LOVE about it (initially anyway) is that after it was synced with my phone, I could read text messages on my tracker! This was a MAJOR PLUS for me as I often miss texts and phone calls bc my phone is in my purse so I don't hear it ring or it's on vibrate AND in my purse and I can't feel it! Another great thing about it is I can read the whole text and even view vivid pictures sent via text! I really love that!!
Of the things I don't care for is the proprietary charger that has to sit in a cradle to charge. Would've been great if it had a micro USB slot on the tracker for charging... that why I can charge it anywhere and wouldn't be restricted to charging at home or trying to carry the charger with me every where I go.
My wrists are petite so it does look kinda bulky on my arm. But overall it fits comfortably on my wrist... however I don't sleep with it on... I don't sleep with any "jewelry" on as it irritates me. So I'm not enjoying the feature of the sleep monitoring.
Additionally I was concerned about the face getting scratched up... but so so far so good a month in, despite the face of the tracker rubbing up against things/surfaces during the interim.

Does as it promises and is much better than the fitbits and more accurate with steps, and your automatic workouts. Only 4 stars because it doesn't have an external speaker like the Gear S2, S3's etc. BUT the trade off is it's smaller for women wrists or men with small wrists. if the speaker is an important feature and you don't mind the BIG size of the Gear S2 and S3 watches then that's the path to go otherwise this is the only option that is small that works and works well.

This watch is great for keeping track of your daily steps, calories burned, and heart rate. My only issue is with the floors/levels climbed. I live in a 3 story house, but my watch will tell me I have only climbed 2 flights by the end of the day, when I know I have climbed at least 10-15 flights.

I love how customizable this fitness watch it! There are many basic functions: step counter, floor count, exercise log, callories burned, water & cafeine ingested, heart rate and sleep tracker. I also can allow or block different apps from sending notifications from my phone to my watch. I wish, instead of just alerting me to phone calls and texts, that I could reply and have the conversation through the watch instead of seeing it on my watch then rushing to my phone to answer/reply.

Nice Simple-To-Use Unit

This Gear Fit2 is a very user friendly unit. Need to have a Samsung phone Charger or pick up the separate end unit for the included charger which comes with this. The unit is fine for exercising, tracking steps, sleep track, BP readings, etc.. but needs charge daily. One main drawback; steps are only counted if arms are moving along with foot movements. i.e., when on stepper, or treadmill, you can't keep hands on hand rails. Steps will not register. This isn't a waterproof unit.

Lasts about 3 days. Lots of face choices, easy to use. You can choose which alerts to receive. Waterproof. Wish it was a micro USB charger otherwise if you go out of town or something you can not charge it with out the wireless charger that it comes with. Also my text mesaages go away once read. The first gear they would stay there until you wanted to delete them. I liked it because I could text back people. Overall a good watch, I like it I get alot of comments on it. :)

This was a great watch. I recommend replacing the band though. It comes undone quite often and because of the cost, this isn't one you want to just let fall off your wrist. Buy a different band.

I was looking for a built-in GPS watch to track my running and I looked at several brands, but the GearFit was definitely the best choice. First of all, it tracks distance, time, speed, calories, steps, and so much more. Also, it tracks heart rate without the need of a band under your chest. Finally, it is BEAUTIFUL! The screen is so colorful and modern; you can pick and choose from tons of backgrounds, colors and styles for your screen. I wear it everyday as my everyday watch, as well as every time I exercise and run! Love my watch!
