    Very smart Tracker

I've had my Gear Fit2 about three weeks now. I use it to keep track of how many steps and stairs I'm taking each day. It also does a great job at keeping track of my heart beat. It not only notifies me of emails I receive but allows me to send back simple responses. And I really like that I can change the watch face styles. I have a Samsung phone so the set up went smoothly.

I like the face customizations; step, water and exercise tracking work great and I am very pleased with this watch. Smaller than normal smart watches but still has the important functions like text messages and notifications.

What were they thinking with this band?

Bought this due to standalone GPS, Color and music capability. It was between this and the Charge 2 and the GF seemed to have so much going for it. And it looks beautiful but fit and security of the band are issues for me: The band fastener is poorly designed and the watch face itself is a bit long in its length for me.It feels hard and a bit uncomfortable across my wrist. I think a smaller face might work better for me. Getting it attached is a pain and the reports of it popping open seem very real now. I thought the reviews were exaggerating, but they were true. I am not willing to see this fall off or buy things to secure it. This seems particularly peculiar as it is meant to be used for very running and exercise. You need an extra secure band I would think. I'll be returning it. The Pros though are everything set up nicely, screen is lovely - I'd probably use a protector as I think it might scratch - connectivity was excellent. If they had just used a better strap, I think it would have been a keeper.

I really like this fitness tracker. It has a wide enough screen that makes it easy to read notifications. It has several choices for the watch face. It automatically tracks when I start a walk or run. You don't have to worry about it getting wet. The biggest issue I have with it is it's battery life. I charge it every 2 - 2 1/2 days. And even to get that far with it I have to use battery save mode. I've taken off the automatic heart rate and most of the notifications so I'm not sure where Samsung gets a longer battery life! My husband has a fitbit blaze and has all his features on (Including notifications and automatic heartrate tracker) and he only has to charge his every 5-7 days. I also wish it had other activities that you could click on, like Tennis or other sports. For now when I play other sports not included I have to use "other workout".

My band snapped off at the watch base. Such a sad moment I love the watch and ease of use for one semi tech savy. easy to read and sync with my phone. I have referred a handful of friends to the watch as well!

After experience problems wit 2 fitbit charge (one had the band peeling, and the 2nd one have a bad battery after half a year). Decide to try something else. The GPS on this is a bonus but using the GPS does drain the battery faster. The battery last 2-3 days but not as long as a new fitbit. The fact that I can switch to custom watch bands is a bonus too

This is pretty good at keeping track of my steps, etc. A bit annoying that it keeps telling me to get on my feet and start walking when I am driving. I also don't like that I have to push the button to display the time when it is set to display when I raise my wrist. Selectable displays are great and easy to use/change. I would buy it again

it seems if i am not swinging my arms wildly it does not count my steps. it also seems the battery wears out quicker than i think it should. plus sometimes it is not tracking my sleep correctly. positively, i love the fit and it looks good(black) with every thing i wear. i can't wait to try it later this spring in the pool to count my laps.

The gear fit is convenient. I like being able to listen to my music from the gear fit 2. I like being able to complete workouts from the gear fit without needing my phone. I like receiving call, text, email and alarm notices on my gear (phone must be 30ft within range of gear) and being able to respond and send messsages after rejecting calls. I also enjoy the other features like the stopwatch, timer and find my phone feature. I also like completing step challenges with my husband and being able to see his progress in comparison to mine from my gear. What I dont care for are that Im not sure how accurate the step counter is. It says Im riding a bike while walking with a stroller or even riding in a car. I have also walked and the step counter never changes. I also wished that the data connected with MFP. There are supposedly round about ways to sync the data to MFP but that doesnt work either. Overall though, Im enjoying it.

This was an excellent purchase. I wear it every day. The display area is large, but overall it has a sleek design. It charges VERY quickly (after the initial charging). It allows you to track so many different activities - steps, floors climbed, water consumption, heart rate, etc. You can also pair it with your phone and get your text messages on the tracker, AND you can respond to texts with it too by selecting one of several response options. I would highly recommend this!

I purchased this for my wife and she never takes it off now. She especially enjoys the heart rate and sleep monitor function. It is accurate and interfaces nicely with her smart phone. She lost the first one I got her and was so upset about not having it, we purchased another one to replace it. Would definitely recommend this product.

I had the last version of this watch and, although not perfect, it is greatly improved in this iteration. I love the interaction with my phone (S6) and do use enough of the fitness tracking to make those features worthwhile as well. Can't comment on the accuracy, but I am just looking for a general idea of how much exercise I get, and it provides that. Certainly not the best smart watch or fitness tracker available, but it serves both those purposes well enough for me.

This has everything I was looking for. Bright, vivid screen, steps, stairs, & tracks other activity. It has GPS & WiFi for improved accuracy. Love that you can customize it with so many different face options. I can see all my texts & emails from my phone. Not really using the music features since I prefer my phone & Bose headphones but Im sure others may find this useful. My only wish is that it were completely water proof & not just water resistant.

I am not a fitness nut by any means. I use mine for tracking steps and tracking how far I have walked or hiked. That's about it. I had started losing weight and was using S Health on my phone. That was working great for me but I was tired of carrying the phone when I walked. I used the first Gear Fit for about 6 months and bought this one right when it came out. This one has many more features - works great for my (simple) needs.

I love this watch. I bought it half off because it was in an open box. Love how i can recieve texts, emails, etc while working in a place where i can't pull my phone out. It does not fall off as often as some people say. Only when i hit it on something...not every time. I just wish i could text someone without needing to receive a text first. Oh and it still works after some jerk threw it against the wall. Just a couple dents.

I have absolutely no regrets from purchasing this watch. Being able to quickly read text messages, keep track of my calendar, and even set timers have been the greatest perks. On top of those, I can track my pulse and sleep, which are two things I have wanted most in a smart watch. It's lightweight, easy to read, and being water resistant makes it compatible with my lifestyle. I highly recommend this watch.

You can add a ton of watch faces, both free and paid for. Makes you self aware of movement, water intake, caffee, tracks sleep, weight loss, calories. My husband and i got these together and have step challeneges every week. Its a great tool to help put you in the track for a better lifestyle.
