I did a great deal of research before buying. The Gear Fit 2 has GPS, which is an important feature for those of us who do not like to carry our phones everywhere. This is the only tracker in this price range offering GPS with all of the other features. The sleep tracking works really well.

I've used the gearfit watch for a couple of years. Since I'm forgetful, the timer is essential. The only drawback is that the fastener is not secure. I lost my first two watches because I evidently brushed against something & it came loose & fell off my wrist. Now you can get some little fasteners that keep it from coming off if it gets loose. This is why I gave only 4 stars. Samsung needs to improve the fastener.

It's great at tracking steps and exercises, and it's also visually appealing. The only down side is that I need to charge it everyday. The battery is drained by the end of the day. I'm a big fan of Samsung and I hope the next Gear Fit will have a longer battery life.

GREAT Fitness Watch with Heart Rate Monitor

I absolutely loved this fitness watch! Only problem is that in order to have access to all that it does, you have to have a Samsung phone. I do not, nor did I realize that. I wore it to the gym several times and found the tracking plus the heart rate to be accurate. I ended up returning it because I was not able to access all of its features because I have an iPhone. If you have a Samsung phone, then I would encourage you to get this particular fitness watch. It is the most comfortable one I have tried on my wrist.

The product is a good product, the only complaint is the band comes off easily, I had to purchase another one because mine fell off my wrist somewhere and I didn't even notice until I returned home. I like being able to receive my phone notification on my Gear.

It was wonderful for fitness tracking and receiving notifications. I returned it because I couldn't respond to text messages by typing them back. It did not have a key board or voice to text option. Other than that I enjoyed it but returned it for the classic Samsung gear.

The screen is bigger than I thought it would be. I should have paid more attention to the measurements online. But the size is OK. The bank fits nicely and is easy to get on and seems secure. I like the heart rate feature too. It provides the number of steps, stair steps ("floors"), and calories on the display. Other things it tracks are available in the settings. I would like to delete some of the items such as music since I do not plan to play music on it. I also could not reorder the list of apps that are displayed on the settings. The main think I do not like about it is the short battery life. It only lasts 2 days. I set it on power saving but that eliminates many of the features. y friend has a fitbit which lasts for over a week.

This is the perfect combination of a fitness watch/smart watch. I wanted something that I could afford and this is worth the money. My only complaint is that it is giving me a horrible rash so I have to take it off a few days at a time. I make sure I take it off while washing my hands and completely drying my hands before putting it back on. It has only fallen off a handful of times.

I was in the market for a smart watch for a long time, something I could wear at work and not worry about it shattering or getting a bit wet (I'm a teacher for young children). I had originally purchased the LG smart watch since I loved the design so much, but after going through 2 watches in as many days for battery problems (I was charging them 4 times a day, the battery dropped 5% during the 3 minutes I was speaking to a best buy associate), I switched for the Gear Fit 2. As soon as I put it on it was like nothing was on my wrist it was so comfortable. It paired with my Samsung phone almost instantly, and I love the apps it comes with. The batter on this watch is AMAZING. I charge it once every 3 or 4 days, and when the battery gets low it asks if you want to turn on power saving mode to help your batter last a bit longer. It has also really helped me get into a better sleeping routine with its sleep tracker. I was able to see how long on average it took me to fall asleep, and adjusted the time I went to bed accordingly. I bought the black one since it looked so sleek, but it's great that you can change the bands whenever you want, and they're super inexpensive. I would definitely recommend this for an everyday smart watch, especially if you've never had one before.

This gives me a few more steps than I've earned, but overall a great device for tracking steps, exercise (with its GPS capabilities) both moving and stationary (elliptical, treadmill). Heart rate is fairly accurate. Customizable faces available as well.

Nice product, sleek design, love that it's not bulky. It helps me not miss calls or texts. Battery life just ok, bands just ok. I ordered replacement bands on Amazon that have a true watch style clasp and it's much better now.

I wish I remembered the name of the guy that helped me with my watch. He was great. Usually I can't find one soul to help me when I am shopping at Best Buy (as many people in blue shirts and no one stops to assist) but this guy was so helpful. He allowed me to look at some of the watches that were in stock, and I found that none of the smartwatches fit my wrist, so he suggested the Samsung gear fit. He assured me that it would work with my android non Samsung phone and he was right. So far, I've had the watch for a couple of months and I love it. No interruptions in connection, able to send (short messages like yes, no, okay and some emojis) and receive messages on the watch as well as look at emails Able to see when people are calling me when I am not in close proximity of the phone (i.e. charging in another room) and reject call if need be. Very easy to change the face via the app. I like the SHealth app that keeps track of sleep, diet, water consumption, exercise(steps etc..although I don't know if the heart rate monitor is very accurate but I haven't actually tested it against another monitor) It's a great watch. I love it, thanks to the Best Buy employee who took the time to assist me and make a wonderful suggestion!!!
