I bought this as an open-box on-line. Originally a $900 item and was advertised for $350. I was looking for a light ultra book and thought I'd give it a try. First, geek Squad set up was awful. Item was supposed to be "as new". Win 10 was now installed properly so i had to do a recovery when i first started it. For me it was not a problem but for less-experienced users it would have been. Not cool. This is the 3rd issue I've had buying refurbished items from Best Buy and I'd advise caution. That said, once the Samsung was back to normal I was pretty impressed. The M3 runs Win 10 very well. With 8 GB RAM and the SSD this little guy is plenty powerful for most tasks. I've had the comparable MS Surface Pro 4 and they are pretty equal. I found the keyboard on the Surface awkward unless it was on a desktop and the Samsung's is stiffer and more easily useable in lap situations. Ports are scarce but i also have a Macbook so I'm used to that and have all the necessary USB-C dongles already. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase.

It is a nice laptop. Though the M is sluggish somewhat.

    Nice 2-1 Surface competitor, but...

Beautiful display, fast with tablet style apps, medium but tolerable with large Office files, cover props up to only two angles and is unstable at the upright configuration -the forces overcome the magnet relatively easily. Trackpad -meh but I HAVE NEVER HAD A DECENT TRACKPAD WITH A NON-APPLE LAPTOP EVER. Could never get it to properly ignore my hand typing on the keys -the trackpad moves cursor -had to turn it off and use a bluetooth mouse (see below). Keys are not backlit which I found annoying on a recent flight. Casual gaming and viewing is fine, but don't expect too much frame rate. Watch out for Samsung based updates -killed Bluetooth, then next day, bricked the device, which I returned under warranty and got store credit. Would have replaced but none in stock, got a Galaxy Tab S3 instead with SPen -very happy. Would purchase at this kind of discount, but never full retail knowing what I know now.
