Package came with the manual and cables. But I had to download the software for it myself and update the drive, likely cause the Best Buy techs used a process for ALL SSDs instead of one specific for Samsung. After that, seems to be working.

Got this "Certified" Geek Squad SSD drive and it was DOA out of the box. My PC would not recognize it. I even tried known good cables to makes sure it wasn't a cable issue. I’m extremely disappointed that Best Buy would try to sell a defective drive or it was never certified after the original buyer returned it with probably the same issue.

Works fast and is easy to sync and it is big enough

While I understand that this is a refurbished product, what i don’t understand is why it arrived visibly dirty (like covered in literal dirt) and was in a box that was not only physically open (they didn’t even tape it up) but also looked like it had been hit with a baseball bat several times. If this qualifies as a quality refurbishment by Best Buy’s standards, i will never buy refurbished from them again.

Waited almost a week for Best Buy to send me a brick. Geek squad did an awesome job of checking and certifying this drive. Maybe they can send me one that works, gonna try again.

While the item has given me the storage I need it gave me slightly less than that, which is fine because I didn't need exactly 500 gb but it would've been nice if it gave me that instead of only 475. It also was difficult to set up so I had to watch a youtube video for instructions, 4 out of 5 stars.

I was helped by the people at Best Buy 'online'. Electronics are not my strong point. I got exactly what I needed. This was a refurbished storage and works great! It came with brand new cords (2).

I got this SSD refurbished and I've been using it to play a large game on my laptop. I was happy to see if came with a USB & also a USB-C cord! So far I've had no issues with it and my game runs really well!
