    Amazing monitor, i get fully immersed in my gaming sessions. I doubt I can ever go back to a 16:9 monitor I highly recommend this Monitor!!!!

    Samsung censored my last review on their site, so I'll leave this with BestBuy instead. Quality control is very obviously lacking on these displays. Against all public recommendations (Reddit, Google, etc.) gave this monitor a try only for it to let me down. Great looking piece of equipment and I would have loved for it to have worked, but my first interaction with it is a defective display and Samsung support does not recommend using the 1008 firmware (which fixes 240hz mode with 30 series Nvidia cards) even though this G97T monitor ships with G95T firmware. (Samsung doesn't update the G97T specific firmware for some reason). I would stay away from this display unless you want to go through several returns finding a decent one and are willing to troubleshoot the display driver and Nvidia compatibility on your own.

    Everything I ever thought it could be and more! The 1000R curve is perfect. I have this mounted on the wall in a pseudo desk with lighting etc!

    For starters, the fancy blue light on the back didn't work from day one, I really didn't care, so I didn't give it any attention. I have owned this monitor for 4 mounts and I have to say, up till now, it have done exactly as expected. But now, it is the unexpected. I was working like i do and suddenly a very loud POP, and a crack appeared from top to bottom. I called support right away and they told me too bad. Apparently, they have teams of engineers to see how to break monitors. I don't know how that is helpful. They said I must have touched it to cause damage. I haven't touched it since the day I put it on my desk, well besides the power button. Now sure, had i done something stupid, then hey, that's on me. But I know I did nothing to cause this. I followed the instructions to the letter. attached the base, and only used the base to pick up out of the box and place it on the desk. Naturally, now that I had my issue, I started seeing there are several of them out there like me. They all seem to be in the same spot so I suspect there must be a manufacturing issue. Now, if only they had a team of engineers that would look for these issues and resolve them. I have been a loyal Samsung customer, every TV, monitor, sound bar, and appliance i have purchased for 20 years have been Samsung. The fact that I now have to throw away a $1,400 monitor because of a manufactures defect is enough to steer anyone away.

    Awesome monitor....the 240hz is the first un the market. A little too hot when you are working near to the monitor...but overall great buy.

    This was a great monitor until two months after the warranty expired it developed a line of dead pixels down the middle of the screen. Samsung support was no help and didn't even offer an option to get it repaired even though I was willing to ship it and cover the repair costs.

    After just 3 weeks of having this very expensive monitor that is only being used for excel spead sheets (no gaming), one of the monitor pixels died.

    Minor flickering occurs with adaptive sync on. Hoping that is just a driver fix. Frequent Clicking/Popping sounds in bottom left and right of monitor. No light bleeding, no bezel separation. Still unsure whether I will be returning for a new one.

    I bought this monitor not even a month ago, The monitor looks great and works great when it’s not flashing on and off and dimming down to a dark green until the monitor looks like it’s off. This started the day we got it. Samsung is suppose to send someone out to look at it but the appointment has been canceled on several different occasions. I have an appointment with Best Buy but really don’t want to have to pack this monster up to for them to look at it, mind as well just return it. I would change my rating if they fix these issues.

    I love this thing... maybe it's a bit impractical but man is it cool! If you're on the fence about it, do it. It changes the whole vibe of your setup!

    I’ve replaced my monitor 3 times. Horrible product and horrible customer support from Samsung. I’ve spent more time servicing the monitor than enjoying it. Now Samsung want me to pay for the repair. I’ve had the same issue with every single monitor. All 3 of them. Horrible do not buy this monitor. !
