good external storage

However, I wouldn't download video games onto it and try to play them from this storage, the latency of information transfer from the external device to the PC is noticeable even when using type 3 USB or USB C on both ends. But, it's affordable and very sturdy. If I need more external storage where I won't be using it to store games, I'd buy another.

High speed and worth the extra price

Highly recommend if you are looking for a high capacity hard drive. SSD are the way to go. The higher price tag than other external hard drives is worth it.

Bought it because my SSD is only 125 GB and I wanted something for holding Steam games. I don't have the best gaming PC but it seems better than than running them from my 500 GB HDD. Plus I dont have to uninstall one game to play another due to no space. Plus I got it on a sale which made it even sweeter and I picked up in store. Was ready 10 minutes after they opened.

I'm a Youtuber/content creator so I'm constantly transferring LARGE files that take forever! This hard drive is worth every penny with its lightening fast transfer speeds.
