Been storing a lot of my games on it . Works perfectly for it. Only thing I’m taking a star off for is , it runs extremely hot. To the point , where it feels even hotter than a stove burner at times. Don’t get it anywhere close to you or risk getting some serious burns.

What used to take 30+ minutes to backup and would slow down all processes now takes 1-2 minutes with no slow down and it is silent vs motor sound. Highly recommend.

Works well and writes quick. I have a large (about double the size and thickness) Western Digital hard drive and the Samsung as far as I can see is no better in speed and features other than it is very small and compact making it a perfect travel companion.

It starts off fast, but the transfer speed drops significantly after a few gigabytes. If you frequently handle large video files or bulk data, you might find this throttling quite frustrating. It's okay for basic backups, but not ideal for heavy-duty tasks.
