I tested with dd with 1MB blocksize and got 300MB/s write and 535MB/s read with my Mac using USB C. Time Machine update is really fast now.

Absolutely love how small and portable this thing is.

This is a very fast drive at a reasonable price. I used it connected to a TB3 dock (Caldigit) connected to a mac and store my photo library on it for editing. It’s small and robust, though I haven’t tested that out.

The T5 drives were already amazing, now with the T7 you get the increased speeds of USB 3.1 Gen 2. For the price, to have an extremely portable SSD capable of handling 4K Raw video editing, you really cant go wrong.

Samsung SSDs are very reliable. I have had several for 500GB -2TB both T5 and T7. They stay pretty cool, are fast. You will never want to use a HDD after using an SSD.

I purchased this for the Sentry mode and dash cam in my Tesla. It is plug and play and perfect for what I need. The storage is lightning quick to get into and view dash cam footage and alarm events. Excellent product.

The speed is amazing and it's so small. It's about the size of a credit card and about 1/4" thick. Using a c cable 4gig movies transfer in about 30sec instead of 15 min.

If you are using this for the XBOX to make your games run faster then you might need to change from energy saving mode to instant startup on your console settings for it to recognize it on startup without having to unplug it then plug it back in. Then it worked for me after 4 long days of non-normalcy. Overall i am happy my games load faster [after transferring the games] and instant mode is a game changer [not having to wait 30 seconds on the green screen].. im on the xbox slim. I dont think the X or higher runs any slower than this and i heard X series doesnt compat with this card unless the games on it are xbox one or older. Oh and update it on your PC because i heard games crash if you dont. Also it might void your xbox warranty?
