    Went to get another eXtremePto 2tb and got samsung t9 cheaper. Pleased with the performance as an external for my Mac running parallels and games. Cant tell a difference between the two in performance.

    The 2TB T9 is a fast, conveniently portable SSD drive for my file backup and transfer of files. It loads much faster than my previous 2.5 WD backup drive.

    I thought this external drive was faulty, per a Best Buy, 1000 Oaks Tech person. Merced Tech Support thoroughly tested drive and it's in perfect working order. My PC needs to be tested. Summary, haven't backed up data yet. I'm told it should worked great.

    I record a lot of 4k video off my iPhone in ProRes and this thing has been awesome. Other SSDs I’ve tried including the T7 could start skipping on their videos due to temperature but this thing has been a beast. I haven’t had a single issue with videos on this thing.

    nicely slim and small. data transfers were not as fast as expected, but: the other device was likely slower, and the other device was being written to. a simple read from the T9 likely would be quite fast
