Haven't seen transfers done with these theoretical speeds. Nevertheless, it still is lightning fast when you compare it to an HDD. It's a good backup device considering the small form factor, speed of transfers, and the USB-C. Also, plus points for the added security.

For those who are addicted to other brands, listen to me: this is an amazing storage with super fast write/read speeds. I have tons of important contents and needs faster processing. This is like a part of my computer and you can’t feel any delays. Trust me l am a pro and have highest degrees in IT field. I highly recommend.

As slmkke who already owns the T7 from Samsung, i knew rhe T9 was going to be jusy as good or even better. I can transfer massive 4k video files in just a couple of seconds. Its worth every penny just for that.

So far, this is the only SSD that works as an external hard drive for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. This is important when I want to shoot video in ProRes. It was super expensive but I got it on sale for almost half price. I should’ve gotten two. Super fast downloads and uploads as well.

There is plenty of space in this SSD and the transfers are fast. I appreciate the two supplied cables so a person can take advantage of USB-C transfer speeds or use the older USB-A cable on computers that only have those.

I purchased this to replace a Sandisc 4TB SSD, because after one month of use it randomly disconnected every day. So far after two months the Samsung replacement seems solid.
