The WB380F is a good camera with excellent features for the $119 price. The photos are of good quality and the 23 mm lens with the 21X zoom provide an excellent range. The zoom feature has a strange lag and is slow causing some delays and missed photo ops. The printed manual that Samsung provides is worthless and I am at a loss on how to use some features, without more on-line research. Also, the flash is a manually operated pop-up and should be automatic when in auto mode (flashing in low light conditions when needed). One has to guess if the flash is needed.

Took it on a cruise came back with awesome pictures!

I have used it a few times for general picture taking. Like all new digital cameras, a new owner should really take the time to read thru the manual and fool with the camera to better understand it, but like most things I do in life, I didnt do that correctly either. The camera did not include a paperwoners manual, so I have an excuse this time. Overall, I have been able to get the camera to take very nice pics when I needed it to, but thankfully it was not fast action or anything, so I've had time to try a few different settings, to get the best pic, and familiarize myself with the camera. Like others have said, the flash is in a bad spot, and it is heavy, yet feels a little awkward in your hand because of the large touch display, and relatively small rectangular body. It has served me well so far, but I got the 2 yr extra warranty just in case. battery power is very good on a single charge.

This camera does everything I needed in a camera and the price was incredible. Not only does it have a 21x zoom capability but I have yet to use the flash indoors because of its low light capability. Very easy to use and when needed the online manual is excellent.

I bought this camera for a trip to Europe. It was exactly what I was looking for! First, it's super attractive. I loved the white with chrome-looking accents. I also loved that it was solid & had some weight to it without being too heavy to carry comfortably. It didn't feel so fragile that I would break it. I loved that I had the option to use the touch screen and button controls interchangeably without any confusion. And I especially loved the built in WiFi feature! This was one of the big selling points for me. Going on vacation & knowing I'd probably be taking lots of pictures, I wanted to be able to wirelessly & EASILY import them on to my devices (iPhone & iPad). I read mixed reviews beforehand, but I have to say - I'm not technologically literate at all & I had NO problem figuring it out on my own. As long as you have the app on your device (Samsung Smart Camera), I had no issues connecting & being walked through the process. It was a serious time saver! I am BEYOND happy with this purchase & would definitely, enthusiastically recommend it to anyone!...you'll love it!

We were in search of a camera that was small, yet packed with features. We took it to CA with us on vacation and took some great shots with it. Got it around $100 as well, so pretty satisfied.

Full hd video and nice resolution on the photos. A camera this size with an f/2.8 aperture is great. The nice lower aperture helps in dark and provides a nice bokeh background. I got this for my brother to start his stop animation videos and he enjoys it. Also, the wifi capability (which enables the camera to wirelessly project its view to a device) is nice to help my brother get the best angle even when he can't see the screen. Once again, at this price, the camera provides a great experience for those who are beginning photography or for those who want something simple and easy to carry around.

So I bought this from a flash sale on bestbuy.com on impulse and I am really pleased with the little thing. It has a nice responsive touch screen and a quick interface (replacing an old kodak that had neither) and seems to take really amazing pictures - though I have no experience with high end DSLR's or shotgun lenses or anything so this is simply the nicest camera I've personally owned. Can't imagine needing anything higher end for anything other than professional work.

Takes sharp pictures, easy to use with just the basic instruction. Easy to transfer pictures to you computer or to email to family and friends. Send the pictures from the camera straight to any email account.

On the plus side, the zoom is really nice! Leaves my other point and shoot in the dust. It also has many different settings that that camera buff can choose from. Aperture priority, speed priority, etc. It actually takes some time and study to find out all the settings that are available. However, one can just pick "automatic" and shoot without giving a thought to all the nuances of "cameradom." Downside is that it is a little larger than my other pocket camera (Canon). It just barely fits in the pocket I use to carry the camera. I have missed a couple of shots because of the time it took me to get the camera out of my pocket. :o( Overall, I give it a 5 star rating! Good job, Samsung!

I normally use the camera on my smart phone to take pictures so I was hesitant to make this purchase. The first time I used the camera it validated the purchase the zoom, and resolution results in unmatched picture quality. Whenever I want to take pictures to print in the future I will always bring along this camera. Simple to use just remember to purchase a memory card.

I love all the features, touch screen, zoom.. etc... but the flash ruins it all. :( It is a pop up flash you have to manually open, so no auto flash setting. Very awkward to hold when there is an open space where you would normally put your finger.

I love this camera. Love the touch screen. The camera takes great pics and i love to share via email and facebook. I bought this because it can share to facebook and to my family via email. The Photos are clear and crisp and i use the camera every day. i also love that you charge the battery in the camera , thats a cool, no taking the battery out of the camera to lose it.

I really like this camera. It's easy to use, and I love that I can connect it to my phone to upload pictures back and forth. It has really good resolution. I snapped a picture of my cat, and when I zoomed in, I could actually see the texture on the wall. That's as good as I'll ever need!

I purchased this camera for my grandmother's birthday gift. She isn’t very tech savvy but she was able to upload pictures to Facebook with minimal assistance. The printed pictures turned out great and the camera is very easy to operate. Other members of my family have also purchased this camera after seeing my grandma’s camera and the quality of the pictures.

Pictures are very detailed for up close and mid range. Some loss in distance photos. Tremendous amount of settings and varying ways to send your images. Fits nicely in your hand, pocket, purse. Great price for a good value camera.

This camera is pretty good for the needs of someone who is looking for easy point and shoot ability. The auto feature takes pretty decent photos. It's fun to play with the manual settings to adjust the camera's light intake and exposure length. Also takes really good HD video. If you are looking for something small and simple this is a good deal.

This camera is beyond what I expected! It was easy to use and didn't really need to read instructions to start using. This camera was bought for my wife, she loves it and the fact that she can just turn in it on start shooting rivals her phone and enjoys some of the settings. The ease is amazing and the picture quality is crystal clear!

This camera is pretty easy to use. I love the zoom!! It zooms better than what I expected for such a small camera that's for sure.

What I like about this camera is the 21x optical zoom. Hard to beat for the quality & price esp when it is on sale at BestBuy. Technologically more advance than many of the cameras in this class category.
