    Pay attention to details of the items. Based off the picture, I believed them to be decently sized speakers, but when they arrived in the mail I was extremely disappointed. They were much too tiny for living room speakers.

    These are not wireless

    The speakers are not wireless, they are connected to a receiver by WIRES! The receiver does sync via Bluetooth to a primary system but the speakers have WIRES that must be used. The system overall doesn't add much to the overall sound quality and are very under powered.

    Never got a sound out of them

    I got these set up with a Samsung soundbar and the lights said they were connected to it. But I never got any sound from them. Other people have been successful, so it may have been the set I had. I returned them.

    finally had a chace to set it up i just finished moving. It took a bit to get the unit to work, only one of two speakers works and dealing with best buy these days is terrible. I dread having to go back to deal with it.

    Underwhelming is an overstatement for this product. I understand that side speakers are not supposed to be in your face overbearing but these are hardly anything at all. Personally I wouldn’t purchase these again or recommend them to anybody

      Please know that by design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.

      However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:

      1. Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
      2. If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE.
      3. Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holing the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
      4. Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control.

    Thought they'd be better

    Bought these to pair with a Samsung sound bar and was really disappointed in them. Could not even tell they were there. They added nothing to the sound experience.

    Are not wireless speakers like advertisers says

    Had to hook speakers up,are not wireless. Had to call for support as speakers wouldn't connect to soundbar. Once we finally got everything connected, sound was fuzzy & didn't add to tv watching at all. Retuned speakers

    You cannot even tell the speakers are on. Took me a while to notice they where on. The black port of the receiver burned on 3rd day. Had to send to Samsung for repair.

    Defective and will not connect to TV and soundbar, both Best Buy installers tried to fix and couldn’t. They are going to try one more time and if they don’t work, replace or refund.

    the would not pair with the sound bar I purchased same brand best buy recommended and said it would work only to be disappointed and now stuck with a sound bar n sub! That has no rear sound

    Speakers cut out at times. Hear them best when I am standing within a foot of them. Very disappointed. Wish there were another option to connect to our Samsung soundbar...expected larger speaker with better sound for the money...

    They didn't work when I got the compatible soundba

    I was so excited to get these bad boys hooked up to my Samsung Soundbar, which is on the compatible list. And.... Nothing. No sound. Nothing. It was too late to return, so I am stuck with them. Pretty disappointed.

    i had to return these. the sound was barely coming out. you had to put your ear up to it to hear anything. and that was with the audio at max setting.

    I bought these because reviews said it would be a great addition to the sound bar when plugged in one side would get sound and the other didn't when the volume was turned up at least half way it would sound distorted

    I purchased this product and I was excited to try these out and to no prevail. I called Samsung for help connecting these speakers and one hour on the phone for nothing!!

    Great Addition To Samsung Soundbar

    I was looking for a decent quality and sounding surround sound system with minimum of wires to go with my Samsung Smart TV. I researched several and decided on this Model: New! Samsung - 3.1-Channel Soundbar System with 7" Wireless Subwoofer - Black HW-M550/ZASKU: 5754514 setup due to quality of sound, minimum of wires and easy setup, the fact it was a just released new item and it was Samsung. The setup was simple, some tinkering to figure it out but very intuitive. I experimented with placement of the wireless sub woofer and in the end have great quality sound and deep base. You actually have separate control of volume of the sound bar and the sub woofer to achieve optimum levels to your preference. I then added the New! Samsung - Wireless Rear Loudspeakers (Pair) Model: SWA-8500S/ZASKU: 5754510 and voilà I had a great surround sound system with sound coming from every direction with a very clean "almost" wireless setup. Note: there are about 12' speaker wires running from the wireless rear remote receiver to the 2 rear speakers.
