I received this Mini SD card at no cost for an honest review. It has fast read speeds and at 128GB, it holds plenty of games. I added 50 gigs worth of content and my Switch is running without a hitch. Just realize that your read/write speeds may be limited by your hardware (like your PC/Laptop) if you are transferring files but in the Switch, it will work optimally. This card can of course be used in any Mini SD card application. It states it is waterproof, but I don't intend on testing that feature. It is also appropriate for 4K contenting case you'd like to use it for video recording or photos. A little disappointed it didn't come with an SD adapter card for the computer but luckily I had some spares. I recommend it. It's also a Nintendo Switch branded product so that's cool. You will have to format it before use but your Switch will automatically do that when you put it in the system.

If you are looking for an expansion card for your Nintendo Switch in order to dowload more digital games, then check out the SanDisk 128GB Apex Legends MicroSDXC card. This is even better when you enjoy playing Apex Legends and is a nice addition with having the Apex logo right onto the card. Performance is just as you would expect from a SanDisk product and I have not experienced any issues with read/write speeds at all. Games launch just fine and now I have plenty of space. I had to upgrade from a 64GB card and I found the directions online of how to swap out the card and it was simple to do. All I needed was a little time and a PC with a mini SD card slot. You are not provided with a full size SD card adapter, but I bet everyone at this point has 5 of these things hanging around. So go out and pick up one of these cards, they are inexpensive and they work great.

I just received this memory card to test in my nintendo switch. I went right in and is replacing a 64gb I've had since I got the unit. It found it right away with no issues and seems to have minimal lag time loading stuff to it. It will guaranteed I have plenty of room to play apex legends, and a bonus that it's logo is on this. in case I switch back to my old card for something, I'll know where all the good stuff is on it. I have a lot of sandisk cards over the years, they are dependable and I have not had one go bad, as I have with many other brands. price wise, this is very competitive with other stuff on the market. I'd recommend this if you want to make sure you have no issues with your switch.

I bought a Switch, then my wife played it, so I had to buy another Nintendo Switch. Now that my daughter is of an age to play video games, I now have a Switch Lite. So that I don't have to carry any cartridges, I've been transitioning to digital copies of games. The internal memory on the Switch and the Lite isn't that much, which is why the SanDisk 128 GB microSDXC card is the perfect complement. It has more than enough room to store many games. Not just the tiny "mobile game+" games that litter the eShop, but multiple full on AAA games. Not all microSD cards are the same. Other than capacity, the read and write speeds on the card greatly affect the gaming experience, especially in a game like Apex Legends. Like most online games, Apex Legends gets a steady stream of updates, all of which take up space on your SD card, so the faster you can write to the card, the less you are waiting, both for the original game download as well as the many scheduled patches. In addition, a faster read speed means that you are spending less time waiting for the game to load, waiting for the menus to load, waiting for the next round to load, etc. In fact, there's a ton of waiting you have to do in Apex Legends, so every little bit you can cut out is more time spent playing. Apex Legends isn't the only game to benefit from the fast read/write speeds that this microSD card delivers, so don't be afraid to purchase this if it's an upgrade for you but you don't play the game. While Apex Legends is a free game, it doesn't come pre-installed on this card, you still have to download it from the eShop. If you've already downloaded it on an older/slower/smaller capacity card, it's easy enough to copy the files on that card to your PC and paste them into this new microSD card, then you are good to go, which is great if you have metered internet.

This card is both larger and faster than the previous card I used in my Switch. A Class10/U3 card with reads up to 100MB/s and writes up to 90MB/s, this "Apex Legends" card is perfect for what I need. SanDisk cards have always been rock-solid for me. I've never had one go bad - and I've had a LOT of them. I load all my games to the SD card on my Switch and I was running out of space on my old 32GB card. 128GB should hold about ten fairly large Switch games (large Switch games seem to be taking up about 12-14GB per game on the card). I checked my old card and found it was a Class 6. It was workable but I do notice faster load times with this card. If you're transferring from an older card, I found out that you can power off your Switch and take the old card out, put the old card in your computer, copy all the files/folders off the card to your computer then put this card in and copy all the files/folders back to it. Put the new card in your Switch, power it on and you're back in business. This seems quite a bit faster than doing the copies on your Switch and is definitely a lot faster than deleting and re-downloading games. I absolutely recommend this card for your Nintendo Switch... and I also tested it on my DSLR with an SD card adapter before loading it up with Switch games. It did 4K video without breaking a sweat there too.

This card gets the job done quick! It has ample amounts of space to download lots of games to your switch. Downloads seemed to be much faster than they were with my old memory card. It may be my imagination, but games seem to function smoother. All in all, this is great memory card!

I was using an OLD spare SanDisk 32gb micro SD card for a long time and mainly had physical copies of games which didnt require too much space. Over the holiday there were a good amount of games at great prices on the Nintendo online store. I was quickly running out of space so an upgrade was in order. I tend to always go w/ SanDisk or Samsung MicroSD cards as they have always had a dependable track record with me. I like the white color (stand out from the sea of black sd cards) and contrasting red Apex logo. Copying my packed 32gb card was done in no time. Now I have a good amount of breathing room for future downloads. Speeds of this card are sufficient for the way the Switch handles reads and writes. If I were 2 use this in any other MicroSD card device it would have no issues keeping up. As always SanDisk does not disappoint!

This card works great with my Nintendo Switch Lite and the game Apex Legends. My Switch only has 32gb of onboard storage. Most of my storage is taken up by save game files as I typically buy physical games as everyone in the family has their own Switch. Apex Legends is a bit different though as there is no physical copy, you must download it to a microSD card. I downloaded the game to my new card and was playing in no time. The graphics on Switch isn't quite up to par as my PC but can't really complain when you have a free-to-play game such as this in your pocket. Apex requires only about 20GB (but will probably increase as time goes on) so there's still plenty of room on this card for probably a dozen if not more digital games. This SanDisk 128GB microSDXC UHS-I Memory Card is an essential purchase if you use a Nintendo Switch. It would be an excellent primary memory card for most players. It has a ton of space for game and save files, and items load quickly. It could also be good as a secondary memory card if your first card has filled up. It is quick to install; just look behind the kick stand on the Switch and click it in. It works instantly. It also looks great, with the white primary color and the red Apex Legends symbol. This would be a great gift for any fan of Apex. I actually downloaded Apex onto this card, booted it up in seconds, and played a few rounds. It worked flawlessly, as expected. I would highly recommend this for any Nintendo Switch player, as memory space is something that a player is going to need for games and save files.

My teenage daughter has a Switch Lite, and spends way too much time on it. She has several games on it, so adding a memory card to the mix is a no-brainer. Even though she has the online Nintendo account, this is an affordable way to do more with the Switch Lite. The 128gb is a good size, not too big and not too small, but just right and the price point is just right also. It was really simple to insert the micro SD card, there’s a small slot with a cover that I popped open, and inserted the tiny card into. You will see the small “working” edge, that end would go in first. We downloaded the game Apex Legends onto the card through the app store, it was fairly easy to do. I have several SanDisk products and am happy to have another one in my collection of electronics.

Since it's a Nintendo certified licensed product you're getting something that has been tested to be compatible with the Switch and Switch Lite. Apex Legends is a popular battle royale game that comes in around 16GB, that's about half of your Switch internal storage so a memory card is a must. After downloading the game to the memory card I still had around 100GB left for more games. I did not experience any issues playing the game like freezing or locking up. Overall if you want a peace of mind and not have to worry about compatibility issues Nintendo certified is the way to go.

There are a lot of different memory cards on the market. Different brands, sizes and speed. Different devices have different needs. Like a dash cam vs DSLR vs phone vs Nintendo Switch. This memory card was made and branded for the Nintendo Switch so you can not go wrong if you need to expand your storage. After using this memory card for a week I haven't seen any issue or slow downs. I would recommend this to a friend if they are looking for a Switch specific memory card

This is a great micro-SD card! SanDisk, who is a top leader within its industry, this card proves that they offer top-notch services. I have never gotten a SanDisk card that was corrupted, flawed, or did not live up to its storage capacity. I am sure with this card being 128GB, it will serve my storage needs immensely!
