I've been playing Apex Legends and Link's Awakening off this micoSD card with absolutely no issues. All of the game assets load incredibly fast and I can't notice a difference in comparison to when I am playing a game directly from a cartridge or games saved directly to the Switch's internal memory. The card can of course also be used for general data storage and can also accept recordings of 1080p and 4k. Of course you can use other microSD cards with similar read/write speeds in your Nintendo switch, but it's extremely convenient knowing that this card is official licensed by Nintendo for use with the Switch. You know that you're getting optimal read and write speeds specifically for gaming with this card. I think this is great for gamers who don't want to deal with the hassle of researching read/write speeds and what cards will work best for gaming on their Switch. Another reason it gets 5 stars is because of SanDisk's lifetime warranty.

During Covid I got extremely bored so I purchased a few gaming solutions. Fortunately I was able to grab each of the next gen consoles but I needed a mobile solution as I hate playing games on my phone. I picked up a Nintendo Switch Lite and must say I"m extremely pleased with it's portability and screen size but the internal memory has limits the number of games you can download to the Switch. Easy solution is to grab a micro-SD card but you need one that's fast enough to not impact game play so that's where the SanDisk 128GB microSDXC UHS-I card comes in. Super fast loads and no noticable lag. I love that they also have a 256GB version. With a couple of cards you should be able to download your complete library of games with room to spare. Well worth the money and even better, you can use these cards with any device that has a micro-SD slot (cameras, tablets, Android phones). A win win!!! Highly recommend!

If you own a Switch, I highly recommend this Micro SD card. It has plenty of storage and has great read/write speeds. Now that I've got this, I feel like I have plenty of storage for games.

This card added a good amount of space to my daughter's Switch and was easy for her to install. Make sure you do any required backup before replacing a (smaller) card on your Switch or other device. The card arrived ready to use (no format or setup, etc.) My daughter inserted it into the slot and followed the on-screen directions with no issues. She is happy with the extra storage space for games/data.

New to gaming.. Given a Nintendo Switch as gift, and wanted to download Switch. Was told for best performance I need a fast speed read and write micro SD card. I heard about the SanDisk which is also a name i've had experience. Price was right and set up was easy. Got the 128gb version, but there are higher memory versions. So far it has been fun. Game downloaded smoothy and fairly quickly. Operation has been good without any noticeable lag or glitches. Game download was free which was nice. Specs on the card is impressive and it did not disappoint,

I’ve always known SanDisk to be a reliable brand so I was happy to get this 128GB microSD card for my Nintendo Switch. I downloaded Apex Legends on the card and still have plenty of room for expansion packs and new games. I went ahead and got a couple new games that were on sale in the store. I have a lot of physical games, but sometimes you can’t beat a deal on a digital game so it’s great to have a card that can hold more than the 32GB that the Switch comes with. All in all, the card works and I’ve had a positive experience.

This memory card has plenty of room to download, play, and keep saves with Apex Legends on the Nintendo Switch. Fast speed. No problems.

This micro sd card is great! I love the Apex Legends theme that’s printed on the card. It works great with my Nintendo switch. It’s as simple as putting it in the slot under the kickstand and it’s ready to go. It is a huge improvement over the small amount of onboard storage. This works great for Apex Legends since the file size is so large. Even after installing Apex Legends, there is plenty of storage left over for other Nintendo Switch games or other files.

Great MicroSD card for the Nintendo Switch. 128GB is plenty for me and holds an ample amount of games. The card works once popped into the switch (the switch will format the SD card) and allow you to start downloading games onto it. Great product for your Nintendo Switch.

SanDisk is the brand I trust for all my MicroSD needs for the past 10+years. I have never had 1 failed on me. It came with free download of Apex Legends, but I found out the game is free to download from Nintendo eShop anyway. Oh well, still happy with my purchase!

There are other SD cards with more memory, but for purpose of uploading and reading graphics of an online-only game like Apex, this memory card is pretty good. Read speeds of up to 100MB/sec is better for fast data transferring so it makes good for keeping up with games on the Switch.
