One of the best external hard drives in the game. 1 TB is LOT for such a compact and teeny thing. This is great if you’re a photographer/videographer - OR if you’re a recent college grad / comp sci student with text books / scripts - etc that you want to store on an external drive. It may seem pricey but it’s worth investment just to store items that you aren’t 100% sure you want to keep locally.

This thing is tiny!!!! I have been wanting a portable SSD. Not to use as a main drive for backups but, given the 1TB of space I have been able to use it as that and a go between for my files and others files as well. It is quick! Given it being an SSD and USB-C that much is expected. I love that I can toss it in my bag and not have to worry about it! My only gripe is I wish that the cable was longer *that may cause an impact in performance I guess?* or something was included like a stand so it wouldn't put a bunch of tension on your USB port depending on the layout of your PC. Laptop users need not worry though!

This external SSD is a must-have! It's easy to use and super fast to transfer/retrieve pictures and videos within seconds. I had an old external hard drive and it took forever to backup/transfer data. Also, you don't have to worry about losing your data since there are mechanical parts. Plus, it comes with a USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adaptor.

I love how compact and fast this drive is. It's very handy with the place in the corner to connect a ring or hook. I have two and one I hang from my lanyard I wear at work. It's a very handy way to keep my personal docs with me and not store them on my company issued computer.

Usually I trust SanDisk, but this product is sub-par. (Extreme Portable 1TB. Model # SDSSDE61-1T00) - Regularly freezes up during use at critical times when I need to save a file. - Occasionally becomes unresponsive - It takes forever to respond when I'm trying to eject the drive in Windows 11 (although, that could be a Windows issue). - Tested multiple USB cables, multiple computers, and Windows 10 and 11. the problem is consistent in ALL cases. Unfortunately, I DO NOT recommend the SanDisk portable SSD drives. I will compliment them on the overall form, and function. It's a nice, compact, simple-to-carry device.

Tis is my second SanDisk SSD portable drive and I love them both. I haven't experienced any negative issues with them and advertised speeds appear accurate. They come with USB-C and also have a USB-A adapter if your computer does not have a C port. I have had my first one well over a year and plan on replacing all of my older HDDs with them. The cases are well made so an occasional drop or spill won't affect the drives. Best Buy often has them on sale but they are worth the fill cost.

I’ve needed this storage for a while now to free some space on my phone. I’m glad i got the storage.

It’s light and sleek; fits perfectly in my hand. Hooked it up to my Mac book and it automatically connected no issues. It was also nice to move items into the drive really quick.

Very happy with this purchase! Would highly recommend this to anyone, especially if they were in the photography profession! This small external is so much faster than all my other externals. Copies files 3x as fast! Need a new external? Buy this!!

It is compact, fast, and durable. I am able to quickly transfer, backup, and open files from this drive. Highly recommended for media storage (i.e. Music Production, Video, etc.)

This SSD is the best! I have bought others and nothing compares. I am very impressed with the speed of transfers and storage capacity. Definitely will buy another one; or a bigger one!! 10/10

Bought this drive specifically for storing 4K clips from my phone or goPro so that when I create 4K vids, there's no lag. Man, this SSD delivers an upper cut. FAST! And I mean FAST! Normally, there's a lag when I'm viewing my clip from Final Cut Pro. This drives helps minimize that. Price right INHO. This is a must buy for content creators.

It's very fast and compact. Doesn't take long at all to move your large files over to this device. Absolutely love this hard drive.

A very compact and portable SSD with a high capacity, it uses USB-C and comes with a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box. The USB cable that comes in the box is very short but is the perfect length to connect and use, it doesn't really need a longer cable.

This thing is great! It is tiny, fast, and holds a TB of data! I use it to edit iMovie videos. It comes with a USB-C to A adapter, but it's not needed for me.

The SSD is great. I use it with a MacBook Air M1. My only complaint is that the cable seems extremely short. Only about four inches.
