So easy to install and had TV mounted on the wall in less then 30 minutes.

I have always been nervous about mounting a large TV (40") on my bedroom wall. This kit came with everything I needed, including a level and stud finder (though you have to poke holes in your wall to see where the stud is). The wall hanging template made it easy to know I was hanging it level and that I would get it right the first time. Perfect choice for my TV mount.

The mount itself and the Sanus web site (used to determine the optimum height from ground to install the mount) are really well made. Sanus even included extra bolts specific for mounting a Samsung TV. Installation worked well until I had to mount with only one stud and additional anchors only in dry wall - installation option 2B. The plastic bolt anchors that push into the dry wall either side of center simply began spinning around when I started to tighten the long anchor bolts. I had to replace the plastic anchors supplied in the kit with 'real' dry wall anchors and screw sets I had in my tool box. Once mounted though, it looks really clean. My wife and I were able to lift and hang the TV on the mount very easily. The bottom part of the bracket 'snaps' on, so you know it's secure. I could center the TV where I wanted it as it slides along the mount very easily too. Since the VMT5 is a tilt mount, and it tilts up too, getting the cables and power connected was a breeze too. All-in-all, this is a really nice product.

I am fairly handy so this was very easy to hang a tv on the wall. It comes with a level and punch so you can find a wall stud. It also comes with a stencil that you can hang on the wall showing exactly where to drill your holes. I've used a few other brands of wall mounts in an old house and in my current home and this was the easiest wall mount by far

If all you need to do is mount a flat screen to a wall, this item works perfectly. When mounted, there is limited range of adjustment for up and down tilt. Further, if you fail to get the mount perfectly level when mounting it to the wall, there are screw adjustments that will allow the installer to make the flat screen perfectly level after installation. All of the hardware required to hang the mount is included, even a magnetic stud finder. There are fasteners supplied for a variety of construction types; merely chose the appropriate type. Mounting templates are supplied and easy to use. Once the mount is fastened to the wall and its mating part fastened to the flat screen, mounting or de-mounting is easy. I have enough faith in the security of the mounting that I used it in a teenager's play room. Enough said.
