Perfect accompaniment to my daughter’s MacBook Pro, especially given the fact that she still uses SD cards from her cameras for her photos.

Works okay for simple needs, more like an adapter than a doc. Works with simple needs like reading files from a USB drive with a computer or iPad with no USB-A port. Works very inconsistently for power pass though and for devices that need power such as an external CD reader. Disappointed in this product and will be throwing away to replace with something with better power pass through capabilities. Ugh!

So far every port works fine. Trying to connect a 1 TB hard drive thru the hub, I got a message about not enough power, so connected the drive direct to computer & it worked ok. So a little light on power output, but still good for the price.

I'm asking that because I have both an External Hard Drive (EHD) from Western Digital (typical 'Passport' model) and a Logitec Mouse plugged in.
It seems the Mouse only works when I UNPLUG the EHD !!
That means this device can't do two things at once ??!!??

Works so far with the USB-A connections. That is all I have used so far. However, I found the two USB-A ports to be just a little bit too close together to have two thumb drives inserted at the same time. Not a great design.
Don't get this one for your Mac, get another brand

No stars at all for this thing would not boot up on my Mac, so I had to take it back and exchange it for another brand. Should have booted up immediately, plug and play, but it do nothing at all. I don't have time or desire to go into settings and change a bunch of stuff, so just return it for another brand.
Exchanged it for:
Hyper - HyperDrive Next 8 Port USB-C Hub, 4K HDMI, USB4/Thunderbolt 4, 1 USB-C, 2 USB-A, microSD/SD, travel dock for MacBook/PC - Space Gray and that seemed to work fine.
