Replaced four speakers - everything sounds good.

Made for solid install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for 2012 chevy impala LT non bose. changed speaker wires, added amp and unit behind stock stereo to tap harness for pre amp outs. (see PAC) although seemingly flimsy at first, after removing the sticky gasket on the factory speakers (of which the bracket is built around - not removable) and installing it w/ supplied hardware (beautiful) fit snug. very pleased!!! no vibration or unwanted gap. this is an item if you would take it in to shop they would rely on, no baffling or carboard,,,,, pro job!

Each fit in the factory location nicely in front door and rear doors. You may need to use different screws than what came with your speakers when mounting to these as mine were not catching good, but I resolved the problem with a slightly bigger screw. Delivery was fast had item in hand in 4 days with regular shipping. Would definitely recommend to someone else.

perfect part for a stupid idea that GM had
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After pulling the factory speakers from a cobalt i knew i was in trouble... what a stupid idea GM had for doing this.., having the door speakers molded into this frame.... so my only alternative was to check online to see if some one like metra or scosche made an adapter... sure enough after doing some research i found them... on ebay they were going for $20 to as high as $32... i found them on best buys website for $9.99... what a deal... i believe they are scosche.. quality seems great... thanks.... but BOOOOOOO to General Motors BOOOooOO... stupid, stupid IDEA for the factory speakers..
