I've been using this mount for a few months and now it the best time to add my review. Finding a location that wasn't easy at first but take in consideration of locating the mount in an easy accessible place on your dash. If you wear a case on your phone I wouldn't recommend sticking the magnet on your phone directly. We have an Otterbox Commuter case and the magnet is strong enough to hold but when a pothole is hit or the power cord is attached it would hold for long. Pros: Can be mounted anywhere Magnet is strong Can be used under a case. Comes with small and large magnet Cons: Finding a spot to mount Best used outside a case (Cellphone)

The dash mount has a very strong magnet and holds my gps and cell phone in place even on unsurfaced roads. It comes with two magnets and for the price is the best car holder I have purchased

Likes: Strong (like, impressively strong) magnetic grip, even when driving like an absolute madman. Very small form factor, doesn't block your view when you're NOT using it. Super-thin metal plates (two different sizes) mount with 3M adhesive on the back of your phone/case and add a nearly imperceptible ~0.3mm of thickness. Dislikes: Just one.. if you have wireless charging, don't plan on using it without first removing your case. Even the smaller of the two blocked my ability to charge wirelessly on the Samsung fast charging pad. Overall, AWESOME mount and very well worth the small investment ^__^

I love it the magnet on it is great and I have problems with it at all. I can move it all around to exactly where I need it to be and it doesn't move unless I love it myself.

I love how easy it was to install this, as well as how easy it is to put my phone on and off the mount. I was dubious that the magnet would not stand a chance when I go over speed bumbs or curves and my physical me would go flying, but so far my phone has not fallen off the mount at all. My only grievance with it is that I wish the movement had slightly more tension, as the weight of my phone causes it to sink into the lowest possible position, whereas it would be easier to view GPS and such if it would stay slightly angled. A small detail, easily outweighed by the pros.

I have an Apple iPhone 6s. I was able to put the metal plate between my phone and the back protective cover (didn’t have to stick it on my phone). The magnet is strong and holds my phone without issue. I stuck it to my dash on the eye glass holder. My only mistake was I didn’t check the position by opening the eye glass holder and it doesn’t open all the way. If it came with another sticky tape, I would remove it and place it down another 1/4 inch to clear the cover. Oh well, senior moment...(yes I am a senior so I can say that)

The magnet is very strong and holds my iPhone 7Plus in place. I like that I can adjust or rotate the phone and have it hold it's place.

It’s a good mount for the price!! Very easy to install and the internal magnetic strip fits great inside of my phone case

The adhesive on the mount is strong and doesn’t come loose once it’s in place. The mount swivels to get the best angle for your phone, then tighten it down to keep the angle. Easy-peasy! Stick the magnet onto your phone or phone case, place your phone on the mount, and it stays put. Easy, effortless, one handed mounting and unmounting of the phone. Two sizes of magnets. I use the larger one on my Otter box case.

Mount is easy to install and send well made. Allowed me to adequately secure my phone to the dashboard w/o blocking (or damaging) an air vent. Only downside is the small surface area of the magnet. Where I need to mount the phone on my dash ('13 Honda Accord) I had to put the magnet on bottom end of phone so tapping top of phone to change screens can detach the phone from the mount.

I've tried several mounts for my phone and this surpasses them all. I had one that attached to the vent - it broke the vent. I had one that attached to the windshield - it kept falling off but also, I didn't like how the phone blocked my view. It was a distraction. This magnetic mount is fantastic! The magnet is very strong - the phone hasn't fallen off once in the 2 months I've had it. I even have the magnet attached to the phone and then a case over the magnet - it's still so strong.

Best magnetic mount out there ! I have one for my cell phone on one side of the dash, and two together side by side to mount an extra large ham radio control head (Yaesu FTM-400DR Radio). Just stick the supplied plates behind the object you want to mount, and BOOM ! it's there, and it's not ever going to shake off or slip. Smartest new item in Best Buy inventory. And yes, you can buy extra steel plates to mount other things on the Scorsche as well.

It's pretty simple in design...and is flawless provided you can tolerate the fairly permanent mounting on the dash. I tried other CD slot mounts and vent mounts...they all left me with nothing but frustration. This mount actually works. Bumpy roads, train tracks, touching the touch screen...nothing has caused an undesired dismount. LOVE IT. It's simple though...so, don't over pay. Do your homework. Great product, but, can be over priced.

I love this product! It has strong magnets so your phone is easily accessible and safe. I highly recommend being absolutely certain where you want to put it, as the 3M bond is extremely strong. I found the perfect place, then when I started to drive my gear shift knocked into it, lol! Very hard to move to a new place. Also, my phone has Qi charging capability, so the magnet on the back was in the way of the wireless charger. If you keep these things in mind, you will love this product!!

Holds phone better then any other dash mount holder iv ever had. Could not believe how strong the magnet was. I ended up buying 2 more.

I love this mount. It's so easy, I just get in my car and stick it right on and go. Holds nicely, even for a heavy case.

This is a fantastic mount. No more hassling with clipping your phone into a cradle. Just place you phone on the mount and the magnet holds it in place. I holds it nice and strong too. The phone won't fall off (I'm using an iPhone 6+). The only down side is you have to stick the included metal plate on the back of your phone. It's a very very thin plate, and they come in different sizes & colors. It doesn't matter to me because I have a case on my phone and the plate is hidden behind the case.

Love it so much bought one for Mum. Small surface area so the base can stick to small surfaces AND withstand being in a hot car and not fall off. The supplied metal backing for your phone is very strong. I put the metal backing plate between my cell phone and the thin case I have and the magnet works awesome. Small surface area needed and looks sharp. Makes my phone look like it's floating. Well done with this product!!

Strong phone holder, magnet technology is superb. Easy to install and get going

I unabashedly slapped Scosche's magnet to the back of my new iPhone 7 and plugged in the charger That doubles as a pliable metal neck that comes off the charger that plugs into your car lighter, mine is pretty low from the dash. Scosche - Dash Mount coils up at a perfect angle, works terrific, magnets are the key here and this brand has the best that Best Buy offers.
