It mounts securely to my windshield and it works with my MagSafe case on my iPhone to securely hold me phone.

The magnet that connects my phone to the base failed within 24hrs. It didn’t stick to my phone and it took me forever to get the magnet off the base when my phone fell off. So, get the base, but use a better magnet
