Expands storage of my Series X and runs games just as quickly as launching from the console itself.

My son needed more storage space on his game. So his friend told him too get it and he love it.

It's extra storage for your series console and works as advertised. Just wish the prices would come down since you can now get a premium 2tb gen 4 drive for a ps5 for cheaper than this is selling for.

This little device has increased my storage, allowing me to seamlessly switch from game to game to app without the need to continuously move or re-download.

This external hard drive is absolutely essential if you plan on having more than a couple of games installed on your Xbox Series X/S. I've purchased two, one for both my Series S and Series X each. I realized I'd need more storage as soon as I installed Call of Duty: Cold War, Modern Warfare, Madden, and FIFA. After those, my Series X hard drive was pretty much filled to capacity. On the Series X you can get by with the system storage if you only ever plan on installing 4-5 games, but for the Series S it is a necessity.

With all the games that I have on the Xbox series x. This is a must addition. Wish that it was less expensive.

With the increasingly larger size of games these days, the 512GB to 1TB storage that comes with game consoles is not enough if you want to have more than 5-10 AAA games installed at the same time. Having to uninstall and re-download games takes forever even on a 1Gb fiber connection. This is especially so if you have GamePass Ultimate and want to download a bunch of games to try out later on. I haven't noticed any decrease in game load times from titles stored on this.

Well over priced but definitely needed if you really plan on gaming with games being so large these days

4 stars simply because of price. I can but this same drive for a PC for less than half the cost. But like the title it is a must have. Lightning fast and convenient.

This unit is great. Just plug and play. Is too much money. If you can get on sale, would be a great deal.
