Works perfectly out of the box. However it is expensive for what it is.

It sucks that this is necessary and only one rather expensive option is available, but if you can get over the cost it is a great storage device that works just as well as the internal SSD.

Great storage option for the new Xbox Series X/S. I believe it’s essential if you have Game Pass. You’re basically doubling the storage size. Not 5 stars because it’s a little pricey.

This thing works great and if you have a next gen I’d recommend the external SSD. These newer games can be massive in size and you’ll need the storage unless you’re ok with playing one game at a time

Works just as advertised! I have a multitude of games on this and do not notice any difference in slower load times or consistency issues vs the internal storage. Very cool to have a reliable, portable means of doubling the storage. I had a 2TB storage unit from seagate for the older Xbox model that quit on me in 3 months. I don't see that being an issue here with the build type and quality.

Seagate’s Xbox expansion drive is easy to use, typically connecting to the console via a dedicated port. This ensures a quick setup process, and the drive is recognized by the Xbox system without much hassle.

Easy install, seems just as fast as the internal storage. Definitely expensive, but for now it's the only option out there. If you need the extra storage, it works well.
