First one dead on arrival. Just clicks, and doesn't spin up or get recognized by any of my computers. Research suggests the heads are stuck. Will try to exchange for another. First time giving Seagate another chance in years and it's not going well so far. Will update if the replacement works.

Initial check of the drive with CrystalDiskInfo showed an abnormally high seek and react disk error rate. The drive was extremely slow. Returned as defective. Hope that the replacement doesn't have these problems.

Horrible write speeds out of the box, and I'm just a few days past the return window. Best buy won't honor a replacement or a return. Do not buy Best Buy or this drive. If you do decide to purchase this drive go through Amazon because their customer service and return policies are way better. Honestly, I don't understand why anyone shops Best Buy anymore with how bad their customer service and product support is.

I tried it on many devices and Windows 10, 11, Ubuntu and MacOS. It did not get recognized. The farthest I got was on windows, on Device Manager it was being detected as a USB storage but it did not show up in Disk Management. It did once show up in the Disk Management, but I was not able to format it, it gave an error and it never got detected again. I suspect the issue might have been the cable, but I do not have another micro B usb 3 cable, so I decided to return it.
I also tried to check whether it did get detected in BIOS or not but unfortunately restarting pc while it was plugged in, caused the PC to freeze and not boot.
I forgot to test Diskpart, it tends to be more powerful than Disk Management, but now it is packed for return and I am not going to re-open it. They should have made sure everything works fine when it is plugged in especially when they are charging 250$ for it.
