This is the perfect addition to your PS5 if you want to increase sapce. This is one of fastest and most reliable drives as well. Caught it on sale for a reasonable deal. Now only if they make a 20tb version.

Getting this Firecuda SSD for my PS5 was the absolute best decision. I have so much more space for games now, and it runs like a dream. 10/10 would get again, if only the PS5 had a slot for another memory expansion

Pricey but great addition to the PS5. U will not ever need space storage with this. Easy to install. Happy with 4tb of extra space.

Got this for my ps5 which desperately needed memory and now i have plenty of space. It has been a great investment and would recommend for anyone to buy. Just buy it on its sale price it is very pricey.

Works well with my PS5, love the additional storage. So as long as the price for this item is no more than half its original 960$ cost, it be awesome.

Totally worth the price. It’s really simple to install in the PS5 and does not degrade any performance. You can install SO MANY GAMES! I have over 60 games installed, mostly PS5 and some PS4, and I still have 2/3 capacity available. It’s worth it to be able to switch between all your games at any time without having to uninstall and reinstall the games when your console is short on storage. Never had any overheating issues, slow speeds, or poor performance.

Picked this M.2 SSD up because I need more space for my PS5, solves my only gripe that 685GB console storage is not enough. I invested and bought the 4TB which is good for the life of the console. It’s fast and easy to install. It doesn’t replace the console storage, it adds to it, which is great! Recommended for those who really need space on their PS5, particularly anyone who owns a PS5! The TB is your choice.

If you are able to get one (due to the continue situation with the current climate), then this is a must have. For the storage capacity (the price isn't suitable for most, but it's an SSD, so the price is what it is), this will be sufficient. After testing out a few PS5 games (Ghost of Tsushima, Spider-Man Remastered, Rift Apart, Miles Morales, etc), the games load just as fast, wven quicker, than the internal SSD. If you don't need all that storage, still get a Firecuda 530 (any TB will do). It works well for next gen and is worth the purchase. If there ever is a sale (give or take a few years), that will make this product even more attractive.

This heat sink is the best heat sink ever really worth it by a mile the read and write speeds are extremely fast

Really fast in PS5 memory test. Already has compatible heat sink so a cinch to install.

Read speeds on my ps5 came back at ~6,300 which was more than I was expecting. I had read the ps5 would be bottlenecked elsewhere so I wasn't foolishly expecting the full read/write advertised. On top of that, I have a cooling fan that runs at different speeds at different temps and this thing didn't make any noticeable changes there. Install took about 3 minutes. Add a minute to format and a few more for transferring games. Easy. Fast. Cool. A+

I finally got this drive for my PS5. It is faster than the internal SSD and I was able to load 30 PS4 games onto it.... and I still have 2TB left. If you can get it and can afford it, you are set for the next few years in terms of PS5 storage. It is ridiculously expensive but it is likely the best PS5 SSD that you can get (Seagate drive performance improves as the size gets bigger).
