These are excellent drives. Uptime in my NAS is going on 2 years with no issues. Rock solid performance. Fairly quiet.

Got 2 of these to put in a NAS as RAID 1 for backup redundancy. I have only used SSDs for the past several years, but the access speeds are very quick, and did not notice any glaring difference. It did take a while to fill them with 5TB of data, but access individual files is quick.

Unfortunately, Seagate likes to re-use drive names and similar model #'s, but change the internals. While Ironwolf was one of their top drives, this iteration has reduced platters and heads, and it just doesn't perform as well as the originals.
