Customers are positive about the Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum's powerful suction, ease of use, lightweight design, and performance on carpets. Many appreciate its attachments and consider it a good value for the price, noting the relatively quiet operation. However, some customers have expressed concerns regarding the length of the cord and the vacuum's size. Overall, the positive feedback on cleaning power and ease of use outweighs the negative comments about the cord and size.

Fantastic sucksion easy use and light weight. This was a huge difference compared to my last two vacuum cleaners which one was super heavy. I love the lightweight and all the variety of attachments. One coworker bought a shark then the next and the next the five of us love our sharkvac!

I love the suction of this vacuum. It picks up dust that my old vacuum obviously had not been picking up for years. The parts are easy to take apart and reconnect. My only complaint is that I had hoped to be able to purchase more attachments (like the PetPro spin brush) to be able to use on my stairs, but the Shark website does not have any parts available for the model I bought.

I can’t rave enough about the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe Upright Vacuum! This vacuum is hands down one of the best home appliances I’ve ever purchased. From the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed by its sleek, modern design, and the beautiful blue color adds a nice touch to my cleaning routine.
The Lift-Away feature is fantastic! It’s super easy to detach the canister and turn the vacuum into a portable cleaner for those hard-to-reach areas, like stairs, upholstery, or even your car. It’s incredibly lightweight, so I don’t feel exhausted after a full cleaning session, and the maneuverability around furniture and tight spaces is exceptional.
What truly sets this vacuum apart, however, is the Anti-Allergen Complete Seal Technology. I have family members with allergies, and it’s made a noticeable difference in the air quality. The vacuum’s filtration system locks in dust and allergens, preventing them from escaping back into the air while you clean. After using it, the house just feels fresher and cleaner.
The suction power is phenomenal! It picks up everything from fine dust to pet hair, and I was surprised by how much debris was picked up from carpets I thought were already clean. The brushroll works wonders on both carpets and hard floors, leaving everything spotless.
Emptying the dust canister is a breeze—no mess, no hassle. The large capacity means fewer trips to the trash, which is a real time-saver.
Overall, this vacuum has exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s efficient, easy to use, and does an amazing job at keeping allergens at bay. If you’re looking for a powerful, versatile vacuum that’s perfect for homes with pets or allergies, the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe is definitely worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I own a condo, and I needed something that wasn't huge to lug around, but still had some power and I didn't want to spend 300 for a high end vacuum. I started by looking at Dyson because some friends told me they were awesome, ...and their prices seemed a bit higher( I feel like you are buying a name more than anything)...I just happened to be at the store when the sale on this Shark was going on for 149.99. I was told it had good suction and that it had a 5 year warranty and also had a maneuverable swivel/rotator. I decided to bring it home and give it a try. The suction definitely is quite adequate. It picked up plenty of dirt and hair that my decade old junker simply could not. It is also a very light vacuum to me. Its not going to kill your back. I also have brand new wood flooring, and I love the fact it has the rubber feet on it, so I can still roll it across my wood without scratching anything. It has a bare floor setting (I use in my kitchen and bathrooms where I have vinyl tile) and carpet setting which engages the brush. Its very simple to detach the hose and it also gets good suction. There is an add on that came with it also that allows you to use the hose and get underneath your oven or any other appliance that has a small gap between it and the floor. The canister has 2 tabs that easily detach which allows you then to pull out the canister and dump out your dirt. The filter is right below the canister and can easily be washed in the sink and put back in without any troubles. This unit performs like a high end vacuum. It may not be quite as wide as some other vacuums in which you will have to go over more times, but I really don't mind. The power cord also isn't quite as long as some, but its not really that big of a deal to me either. I hope it has good longevity, but I have somewhat of comfort knowing it has a 5 year warranty on it. I would recommend this to anyone who has a condo or townhome, and wants bang for their buck, or on a budget.

I've had many vacuums that cost more and performed less. The Shark Lift-Away DLX is easy to assemble and handle. Has two motors and doesn't put a strain on my back. Pulls dirt up from the base of carpet. Various attachments. Canister can be removed to use for steps. Not heavy. Recommended this style to my daughter and brother.

I've seen commercial after commercial about the Shark Vacuum cleaners. I finally bought one and was surprised that it worked as well as it is advertised. It's lightweight, quiet and it never lost suction. I was amazed how much dirt the Shark retrieved from my carpet. The versatility of the lift off canister and the ease of putting the vacuum back together is worth the price. With this vacuum, there is still truth in advertising. Thanks, Shark!

Having 3 dogs and 2 cats requires a powerful but easy to use vacuum. This model does get the job done well. I researched the internet for this purpose and found that there are quite a few models to choose from. However the store associate gave me great advice and explained how the shark differs from the the other more expensive Dyson. After getting it home and out of the box, we found the assembly easy and quick. I vacuumed the bedroom carpet 3 times in a row and it still picked up dirt my old one left behind. Using it every other day I have to say that the suction does continue to be great even with the amount of fur I have. The emptying is fairly simple but still quite messy compaired to a bagged model. The brush works well and the attachments are great for the hard to reach area's. It does tip over when using the hand tools to clean the couch. Lightweight enough to carry while vacuuming the stairs. I no longer have to dust off everything after vacuuming so the fiters work well. I recommend this model if you don't want to spend the money to buy a dyson.

BTW, this is my first Shark, so I won't be comparing it to other Sharks, even though it's a new model (NV360, blue, no "k"). We have a Hoover Windtunnel T-series "PAWS" now 3 years old. I have looked at other vacuums including Dyson and Hoovers with features like this Shark.
Cleaning with the floor head: Basic operation is job 1. I am impressed. While the cleaning width is 11" rather than 12" or 13", the ability to swivel the head and the on/off motor drive for the beater brush, gave it superior cleaning and especially edge cleaning. The lighter weight makes it seem easier, even though there will be a few more strokes in open areas due to the slightly narrower head. Note that the cleaning head floats over the carpet or surface, so there is no adjustment for carpet thickness. It handled our carpet well, and the bare floors much better than the previous vacuum. There was one floor mat that sealed to the vacuum resulting in difficult movement. There is a partial suction release ring on the handle that is supposed to help with this by providing another path for some air. The motor drive also helps by moving the head over the carpet in a forward motion. There is a green indicator when the brush motor is turned on, and it turns red if the brush is not turning. To go from upright to vacuuming position, you place one foot on the floor head and lean back the handle. There is a noticeable release as it clicks out of the upright position. I am now sold on the benefits of a swivel connector, which means that you can easily steer the floor head by angling the handle as you push or pull. This makes the vacuum feel much easier to control and less tiring to run.
Cleaning the vacuum: This is a hepa-filtered vacuum, which unlike old school models, runs the air through most of the filters before the vacuum motor, with only the hepa filter placed after the motor. My lady found the canister easy to empty and clean and very securely mounted, ensuring there is no leakage of air in the vacuum path. All the filters can be rinsed with water, prolonging their life. The instructions call for regular emptying of the removable canister, rinsing and drying the foam and fiber filters every 3 months, and rinsing and drying the hepa filter every 2 years. This is a less frequent interval than the hoover windtunnel.
Construction was solid and impressive. As a geek, I loved the modular construction with secure, easy to fasten connections and clearly marked levers to fasten and unfasten. There is no cord rewind, which is good from my point of view, as this is a wear item over the years. Our prior vacuum now will not reliably stay out. I think most people have the opposite problem of tangling and jams, but we are very careful with our cords. There is also no light on the floor. I usually vacuum with the lights on anyway.
Weight: This is a lighter vacuum, even fully assembled, much less in the optional configurations for hand use, due to the lighter floor head in part, but the air flow through the vacuum is very strong. I like it.
Assembly and options: I have never assembled a vacuum without any tools at all. I actually didn't even have to cut the box open. The pieces are modular, with the floor head securely clicking into the canister with a clearly marked red lever, the handle serving as an extension hose, with clear red levers that securely click, so you can actually remove the floor head and the handle and use the canister as a lightweight (just as powerful) corded vacuum that you can carry, place on the stairs or a ladder, etc. You can also fully disconnect the floor head when you are using the handheld attachments with the vacuum in vertical standing position so no suction is lost. This is part of the design. Attachments are not show in the picture, but they include a 6" "pet brush" that has a swivel in the hose and a suction-powered (not motor driven) beater brush. I think it is much better than the Hoover pet brush we also have. The front and back sides have inserts like those used to remove lint from clothes and this could also be used as an effective lint remover as well as curtain and upholstery cleaner. On softer fabrics, you may need to use the optional air intake ring on the handle to lower suction. It worked great at full suction on the carpeted stairs with the canister detached from the floor head for easy lifting. My lady didn't even set it down, just carrying it as she progressed up the stairs. Other attachments include the pointed nozzle and the small nozzle with brushes around it, as well as one that is new to me--a long, almost flat extendable tube that allows you to vacuum under couches, stoves, refrigerators, and the like, as well as along walls behind furniture without moving the furniture. This does not store on the vacuum itself, nor does the pet brush head. I have attached pictures since these are not in the item photo (currently).
Summary: On sale or off, the price for this vacuum was roughly 50% more than the "hundred dollar models" that will still do the job. Given the number of hours spent vacuuming and our need to replace one of those after three years of careful usage, I am feeling very five-stars about this vacuum, and I understand now why Shark has such positive reviews. I could also note that the BB sales person uses this one to clean the store every night, and that there was a sign posted by the store use Shark (last years model) not to use the dysons from the display stock because they had broken. That is not my story to tell....

This vacuum is very easy to move and has a powerful suction. Great for use on the stairs since it is lightweight. The attachments are wonderful. I wish the canister was a little bigger as you have to empty it often if you are cleaning a large area. Overall, really happy with this purchase!

Only had this vacuum for a few days, but I think it is well worth the price. We have owned 2 Dyson vacuums, and both of them had battery issues within 2 years of owning them. To spend over a thousand bucks on two vacuums to not last 5 years made it easy to invest in one for under 200 bucks. This Shark vacuum is very simple to use. Some complain about the maneuverability, but me and my wife have no issues with this. Some have complained of the cord length, but it covers a good area in our opinion. The suction is great, and on our hardwood floor, it pulls lint in from areas that are not under the vacuum. The tools are easy to use and have great suction power as well. I would definitely recommend giving this vacuum as chance.

Great cleaning ability, great price. Perfect for our condo. Smaller head size is perfect for apartments and condos. Great swivel for moving around tight spots. Great for carpet or bare floors with plenty of adjustable suction.
I particularly like the bagless canister. My wife always used to be afraid that she picked up needed items. Now she doesn't have to open the bag to see what she picked up.
You may want to upgrade to the larger size if you have larger areas to vacuum.
I'm still looking to buy attachments they show in the pictures. They don't come with the vacuum.

Terrific, relatively lightweight vacuum that really sucks out the dirt from the carpet with ease. A snap to assemble (literally, you just snap the parts together). Easy to push across thick carpet, doesn't make too much noise, and is simple to empty. Its really noticeable how much cleaner our carpet is compared to an older upright from another manufacturer. In order to use the tools, you just pop out the upper part of the vacuum and attach to the hose. It would be nice if the path width was a bit wider, the cord a few feet longer, and if edge cleaning was a bit better, but given the reduced price on Black Friday and the fine reputation of Shark, this is a real winner!
