I bought this vacuum on the fly, good ratings, on sale and have had shark products and been satisfied. I don't know how anyone can rate this vacuum well. It has strong suction and does carpets well. The thing that makes this vacuum bad is it's ergonomics. You literally can not vacuum without fighting it. The the upper wand part is to short and you can't get into any tight spots with it. The hose is to short and your all ways pull it and it tips over. You can't use the wand unless you take the whole cord off. The power switch is to low, so your bending over a million times turning it on and off. It has no light in the rug cleaner part. It only comes with 2 attachments. This vacuum is more of hassle than it's worth. A lot of there vacuum have the same design so beware. It baffles me every time I use it that the people at shark thought it was a good design.

Great suction, easy to maneuver, and the Lift-Away feature makes cleaning stairs and tight spaces effortless. Excellent for reducing allergens and keeping floors spotless.

Terrific, relatively lightweight vacuum that really sucks out the dirt from the carpet with ease. A snap to assemble (literally, you just snap the parts together). Easy to push across thick carpet, doesn't make too much noise, and is simple to empty. Its really noticeable how much cleaner our carpet is compared to an older upright from another manufacturer. In order to use the tools, you just pop out the upper part of the vacuum and attach to the hose. It would be nice if the path width was a bit wider, the cord a few feet longer, and if edge cleaning was a bit better, but given the reduced price on Black Friday and the fine reputation of Shark, this is a real winner!

I have only owned for a month but so far I am impressed with how well this vacuum works for the price. It has really great suction, better than my previous Dyson. It is light weight and the canister is easy to dump. My only complaint, if I had one, would be that it would be nice if it had a little wider path. I would recommend this product for sure. I guess time will tell more.

one con is that one attachment part was missing. i contacted company and they said it will take about 6 weeks for the item to be sent out free of charge it took about a month. customer service was nice and professional. i was able to use the vaccuum without attachment. other than that, it works great. glides thorugh carpet easy. the cable is really long. all attachments work well. the middle part is easy to take off. to clean the container in the middle i use kitchen sink & clean out the filter every time.

Purchased this Shark vacuum to replace my 10 year old Kenmore upright bagless because the switch is starting to go bad. At first glance it looks pretty wimpy, very narrow down near the base. I don't expect it to last as long as the Kenmore. It is also a little top heavy; wants to fall over when the basket is removed to be emptied. Good assortment of tools, although the extension and "wand head" do not have any storage space on the unit. There is not a height adjustment for the beaters but there is an "adjustment" for the amount of vacuum, which is basically just a bleeder valve. Also the beater is not as wide nor the cord as long as the Kenmore's. But it is light and maneuverable and has a ton of suction. A little bit difficult to get all the dirt out of the removable "hopper" as there are a number of nooks and crannies for it to get trapped in. I've had it for 3 weeks and am still getting used to it. But it seems to get the job done.

I purchase the Shark - Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe vacuum a couple months ago and I must say it works great! It's very powerful and picks up all of my cats hair and dirt that cannot be seen. The suction is so powerful it lifts up the carpet threads or whatever they are called so the carpet looks and feels like it is new. The Shark is lightweight and you can even remove the canister and use it like a smaller hand held vacuum for easy cleaning of stairs or hard to reach areas. It comes with many good/useful attachments. I have purchased many vacuums in the past and this one was not only the lowest price, but the best vacuum overall. I highly recommend the Shark - Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe vacuum.

Bought for wife, she's used to Bissell brand but said this shark has great suction, it's definitely quieter and she's a bit disappointed how the handle works

Great vacuum. Very easy to assemble. Light weight enough to maneuver without difficulty. Easy to empty - no bags to replace!! Works great in our office.

This sweeper is amazing! We bought it on the advise of one of the people that work at the store. It's got awesome suction my carpet fibers stand up again. We did the test with running the old sweeper on the floor and then this one over the same place and man did it full up the container with animal hair. We have 3 cats and a dog that is shedding bad right now and it fills up the container easily. I love the attachment for animal hair and how the sweeper comes apart to make a tool, no need to switch between sweeper and attachments for suction and no hose that keeps falling off the sweeper when it's not in use. So glad we spend a few more dollars for this one instead of another sweeper. This one is well worth it. I enjoy sweeping everything I know it sounds crazy but it works so well.

Only had this vacuum for a few days, but I think it is well worth the price. We have owned 2 Dyson vacuums, and both of them had battery issues within 2 years of owning them. To spend over a thousand bucks on two vacuums to not last 5 years made it easy to invest in one for under 200 bucks. This Shark vacuum is very simple to use. Some complain about the maneuverability, but me and my wife have no issues with this. Some have complained of the cord length, but it covers a good area in our opinion. The suction is great, and on our hardwood floor, it pulls lint in from areas that are not under the vacuum. The tools are easy to use and have great suction power as well. I would definitely recommend giving this vacuum as chance.

Best vacuum ever. You have to be careful. It will take things not meant to be sucked up so fast you won’t know till you empty it.
