Customers recognize the Carousel 1.4 Cu. Ft. Microwave's convenient size, ease of use, and fast heating capabilities as significant advantages. Many appreciate its reasonable price and the inclusion of several useful features. However, some users find the microwave to be somewhat noisy and the touchpad controls challenging to use. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and value outweighs the reported minor drawbacks.

We have this microwave for only 5 days. Cooked the first bag of popcorn & with about 20 seconds left it literally popped & split the microwave plate in half. (In decades of using microwave ovens this has never happened to us.) Chatted with Sharp's support & they state it's considered physical damage & not covered under warranty. So their brand new microwave split their plate & it's not covered? First & last Sharp product for us.

This microwave size fit perfectly for my kitchen counter space. The style and price is great. I love Sharp brands and this microwave product did not disappoint. It is easy to use and the sensor cooking feature is an additional bonus.

This is a good microwave at a reasonable price. For the price, it has nice feature set and works well. It is a little louder than a similar GE model that was replaced and the buttons are difficult to read in dim light but overall we're happy with it. A minor complaint is that the kitchen timer feature does not continue in parallel with heating.

After spending a ton of time researching and going through 3 different microwaves that broke (serious 3) we are happy with this model. I had a smaller older sharp in the past and it worked well and held up great so I went back to Sharp. So far so good. Heats things evenly. Easy to use. Looks nice. Big cabinet fits my serving dishes. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

Easy and simple controls, well laid out, more than enough features and pre-programmed functions. I especially like the automatic 'softening' feature, as in frozen butter or cream cheese are quickly ready for a recipe. Reasonably priced,

I've only had the microwave for a couple of weeks, so cannot speak to the longevity of the unit. It is just what I wanted, black, a few bells and whistles but not a supercomputer, and the right size for my galley kitchen, and it sits on the counter.
I believe that the "microwave-over-stove" concept must have been invented by a person who hates cooks! Who wants to take a hot microwaved dish out of a microwave oven which is directly over the stove where the VERY hot food is cooking. Idiotic!

This little gem replaced an almost 26 year old Sharp carousel. My old one still worked but now that I have this new one it's clear it was time for a replacement. It does what I need it too and looks good. I hope to get many years as with the old one...reason I chose sharp again. I'm definitely pleased with my choice.

So far so good! Sharp is a reputable and reliable brand name, so I'm expecting to not have any "issues" with this microwave. It was priced right and does everything I need it to do. It also doesn't take up much space. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I've only had this microwave about a month but can't find any flaws or faults with it. I had to get it to replace a Sharp that I had for 30 years that I thought was indestructible. It just wore out, so this is the brand I wanted to replace it.
It has a great, roomy cooking area, does the job and OK, so I had to learn the touchpad because it varied from the old one but that took like, 3 minutes.
It's a great microwave.

Box came badly damaged with major holes in the box. The microwave is fairly straightforward to use so there is a minor learning curve.
That said, microwave is very noisy but very easy to operate…

I’ve had this Sharp microwave for several weeks now and so far it’s been great. I haven’t had a chance to use all of the features yet, I’ve only been reheating food as of now. This is a little bigger than my previous microwave so I’m loving that I can get bigger dishes in there without them getting stuck as they go around on the turntable.

After 15+ years our Sharp microwave oven broke down, so I decided to purchase another Sharp. Overall this microwave works well at cooking, defrosting, and re-warming food. The only negative I have about this microwave is that it is difficult to open the door.
Earlier microwaves had a lever to press down to open the microwave door, which was the easiest to open. Our previous microwave had the entire right bottom corner as the door release button. Now it seems most counter top microwaves have the door opening button enveloped by the metal casing. Unfortunately, this makes it more difficult to press in to open the door for anyone with a disability or arthritic hands. I would like to see Sharp and other companies manufacture an easier opening microwave door, i.e. One touch electronic button to open the door.

This microwave works well and meets our needs. It's slightly less powerful than our prior one, but we haven't felt the difference. The only thing I would say is that it's a tiny bit loud, and so is the ding when the time is up. Not a problem though!

This does a great job for me. The increase in programs from my old one is fantastic and more versatile . My only complaint is that the touch pad controls are hard to see with my old eyes. I wish that they were either lighted or printed in a more standout fashion. Other than that, this is a wonderful product at a great price.

This replaced the same that we had for many years. I like the subtle changes. I do wish the menu screen was lit up. Its a little dark for my 72 year eyes.
