I've only had these for 2 months and already having to get them replaced. I did not research enough to find that there is a common issue where the right side will completely stop working. If I could return these and get something else I would.

I picked up these headphones for video meetings at work and for walking and running. The package they come in is very nice and the headphones seem to be a very solid build and were fully charged on arrival. When I first tried them on I actually couldn’t figure out if I was doing it right so I had to check the instructions. I did have them in right they just don’t fit like traditional headphones. The actual speaker sits on your concha so they don’t actually go in your ear canal nor do they make a seal. Because of this they lack bass and no matter what I tried it didn’t improve. (More on this later) As far as battery goes, they hardly have used any battery for about 1 hour of meetings and 3 hours of physical activity. Going back to the lack of bass, because how they fit my ears don’t get all itchy because it allows plenty of airflow. I also didn’t have any urge to keep adjusting them or playing with them when you get sweaty. There also is an app that you can download that gives you the ability to add equalizers, customize control buts and shows you battery status. Even with the EQ I could not improve bass which is why I’m deducting 1 star. Overall, despite the bass, I really think they are comfortable and great for the price!

If you need an affordable set of earbuds that won’t hurt your ears or your pocket, these are a great choice. I’ll start by saying that the Shokz are probably the most comfortable earbuds I have used in a long time. I am an all day user. Whether it’s listening to music, watching videos or making a simple phone call, I always have them on. As you may know this can be painful with most all earbuds on the market. This is not the case with the Shokz. The ear loop that wraps around the back of your ear is hardly noticeable and keeps them nice and secure, as an automotive technician i have yet to have one fall out like many others that I have tried. Sound quality is pretty impressive even for a pair that does not physically go into your ear, they have plenty of bass and vocal clarity. Phone calls are clear on both ends. The app that can be downloaded onto your phone or other devices is very user friendly and allows you to personalize the touch features on the earbuds and the equalizer. My only complaint I have with the app is you can’t personalize the EQ, so if you like to tune your EQ like I do to fit your music type these may not be for you. Battery life is also great for someone that listens all day like I do.

The problem with them being open air is they have to fit on your ear the right way for you to hear anything. This was not the case for me. I have bigger ears so the figment was off and I couldn’t hear the audio on a podcast even with the volume all the way up.

The Shokz OpenFit Air OPEN-EAR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS are wonderful. They allow for you to play your music loud, with crisp sound quality and at the same time you're able to be aware of your surroundings. These are not noise cancelling, but what i can tell you is that they're perfect for running outdoors, or just using to listen to music while you do outdoor or indoor chores. They allow for great sound quality, and I'm able to stay aware of what is going on around me. When you open up the earbuds, you'll need to charge them (Just like you do with any other product), however once they're charged their battery life is substantially longer than other earbuds that I have used in the past. There is an App for you to download that will allow you to use some presets for equalization, such as high bass or high treble. The earbuds have a perfect over the ear fit and they never feel like they're going to fall off even during rigorous outdoor activities. Overall I'm very happy with the Shokz OpenFit Air OPEN-EAR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS and I highly reccomend them to anyone that runs outdoors or enjoys outdoor activities.

I am always looking for a "better" earbud. So many in the air earbuds don't fit me well because I have smaller ears. They can be painful too. I was intrigued by these Openfit Air and couldn't wait to try them. They came in a flat, square case that's more than likely too big to carry in your pocket. The case charges with a USB C. They connect via Bluetooth to your device. According to specs, the battery life is 6 hours with 28 hours from the case meaning you can recharge them more than 4 times. They are lightweight, weighing in at 8.7 grams. The Openfit Air hook over your ear with a soft silicone while the device rests against the owning of your ear canal. Let me just say, the sound is fantastic. I couldn't believe I wasn't wearing actual in the ear. They are definitely not soundproof. You can hear everything around you. Controls are located on each device. Their location is a little awkward and I bumped them when I adjusted their position. They work well for making calls. These were slightly uncomfortable with glasses. Overall, I was pleased with these and I look forward to wearing them more.

Overall a very solid open-ear headphone

I've tried a few different headphones of this style in the past with mixed results. these are a mid level priced pair and the performance is pretty much in line with the price. These won't blow you away with brain exploding bass, but by design this style really can't deliver that kind of performance. The bass is acceptable for this style, however. Volume level is fairly loud, but not so loud that you can feel it's too much. Comfort wise these aren't bad for short usage sessions. After a couple of hours they seem to start to pinch a little and when you take them off your ears may seem a bit tender to the touch for a little while. Still, all and all not a bad fit for probably the vast majority of ear sizes The clip is fairly soft and flexible for a secure fit. There is an app you can access to adjust the sound and the battery Life for use outside of the charger seems to last quite a while. I have no problem with the overall battery Life and the charging case has a solid feel to it.

The Shokz OpenFit Air OPEN-EAR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS is a very nice solid open air earbuds. Comes in a nice USB-C rechargeable case for storage. The initial sound quality surprised me how clear it sounded. I also downloaded the app to tweak the EQ a little. I wouldn't say that it has a wide EQ range. I chose the default bass boost. In a time when everyone wants active noise canceling and shut out what is going on around you, these Shokz OpenFit Air OPEN-EAR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS allow you to be aware of your surroundings, while providing clear audio. They do bleed a little of your audio to the surroundings, but not enough to detract from their use. I've worn them for about 8 hours at a time and did not find any discomfort. While they do automatically connect via bluetooth when you take them out of the case, they don't automatically disconnect when removed from your ears. You do need to manually disconnect them or it will still stay connected once removed from your ears. You would actually have to place them back in their case to automatically disconnect. Overall, these Shokz OpenFit Air OPEN-EAR TRUE WIRELESS EARBUDS are a great set of comfortable, clear audio, long usage time, open air earbuds. The plastic texture keeps them in place for just about any out door activities.

Great Sound!!! (but some battery issues)

So, first off, these have great sound! I am very particular about the sound of my workout headphones and these are exceptional. However... Sometimes they don't unpair when I put them in their case - they stay on - so next time I go to use them the battery is dead. If I take a week off, I have to check the charge before I go to the gym. A couple times the batteries have fully drained without being used for a week. The app helps a lot by showing charge levels. But if I haven't been to the gym for a while, I have to check charge levels the night before (yes, it is annoying). The battery issues should make me want to replace these but, again, the sound is so good I still like them. Side note: These are great for the gyn but if there is too much noise around you, they won't have enough volume to drown it out. i.e. these don't work well on a plane.

The Shokz - OpenFit Air Open-Ear True Wireless Earbuds have the ‘open ear’ design that I have been wanting to try. I love me some Bluetooth earbuds, so have used and still using several models from extreme value to premium models. Each has their own strengths, but all of them are ear canal models and still present a barrier to staying in touch with the world around you, even with the “pass through” feature of several models. This ‘open ear’ design is excellent for music, podcasts, and phone calls all while being able to hear and easily communicate with those around you. For times when I want isolation and stronger music, I will use ear canal buds or over the ear cans. Other times when I want to be in touch and aware of my surroundings – these open ear buds are without equal. No problems battery life – a good 4 hours or longer and the case holds a couple of good re-charges so it can stay in my backpack or messenger bag for a couple of days before needing a recharge. Pairing is excellent as I can be actively connected to my laptop and phone at the same time, which allows me to be hands-free while picking up a phone call and working on the keyboard. Quality of phone calls is good, and I also use the buds for dictation and most recently communicating with all the chat-bots. I use earbuds easily at least several hours a day, and also as a sleep-aid overnight. Since getting these open ear buds, I have found myself using them as much as possible. Even though the overall quality of the sound is not quite the level of ear canal buds, I have found it a nice change of pace to not have something stuck in my ears all the time. I’m just sayin…. Greetings from Central Georgia!

I love being able to be aware of my surroundings while wearing these. I have the pink color and they are so cute. My ear does not feel stuffed or weighed down. When I take calls the microphone sounds wonderful. The ONLY downsides are the controls. They are touch sensors and not buttons so if you brush against them, it will skip your song or end the call.

This was/is my first pair of open ear earbuds and I was hoping they would be more comfortable and easy to wear for long periods as opposed to in ear ear buds. They did not disappoint at all; but they did take some getting used to. Install and setup of the app was simple, and using with other music apps and streaming from my phone was a snap. Very customer/user friendly. I experienced battery life was a bit better than advertised, and with the case, I expect they would get me through a long hike or walk without issue. The bass response was surprisingly good for an open ear design, I would have thought the low end tones would be flat but they were round and full. Treble seemed a bit weak, but that was adjustable through the software I had on my phone. My only hassle was the initial adjustment of the ear buds - I had to adjust them a few times before I found the balance of security and comfort. when running or working out they held well. I would say adjusting for a seated or not moving scenario first followed by a little tightening after a trying them on the move should work for most people. I would recommend them.
