Customers value the Art 35mm f/1.4 DG HSM Lens for Sony E-Mount's exceptional image quality, citing its sharpness and ability to produce crisp, high-quality images, even in low light. The wide aperture is also a highlight, contributing to vibrant photos. However, some users have noted that the autofocus performance could be improved, particularly in low-light conditions.

I absolutely love this lens, if looking for a new prime and not sure on what to get, this is your lens! Super duper sharp and amazing color out of the lens. 1000% recommend. Worth the wait for the time it took to get to me.

I have about 6 lens and this is the best lens I own. I have all song and sigmas. This lens is crazy sharp and fast with focus. I feel like I am not as strong as a photographer as I can be because this lens is probably capable of so much more. But as is as a heavy picture taker, this lens blows all the ones I own out of the water. I don’t have any zeiss but I would imagine that at this price, the sigma is probably cheaper and just as good if not better. I can’t imagine a lens being more capable all around. Low light, portrait, landscapes, etc...

It's the Sigma 35...what else can I say? My images are super sharp, and the wider aperture give my images the extra pop I want. I prefer this lens over the native lenses.

Image quality is spectacular. At the end of the day what really matters is the image that was produced and this lens is first class in that department.
I actually like the weight and size being larger than most. It feels good in hand and even if it’s meaningless it gives me the impression of being high end with a great build quality.

The lens stays on my camera. It is an amazing lens for the price. It delivers crisp high-quality images. It is a bargain for the price compared to similarly optioned lenses. I would definitely purchase again.

What can I say? This lens is amazing, believe the hype. The lens itself has a metal casing which adds some weight to the camera body. If you’re using a gimbal, you might to check sources on weight capacity. The lens has a fast auto focus and manual of course. The bokeh on this is amazing!
Comes in a small sleeve for protection in case you don’t have a camera bag. This makes it easy to throw in a backpack without having to worry about damaging it. I highly recommend them and I’m officially a Sigma fan.

Amazing low-light lens. I use this to take pictures of my dogs inside the house. Paired with the Sony a7iii, sometimes the animal eye AF feature does not pick up the eyes in low-light situations though. If you're looking for a good astrophotography lens, though, keep looking - this one isn't quite wide enough. This lens is HEAVY and big. I like the AF/MF switch on the side.

Great all purpose lens that fits the Sony E-Mount (full frame Sony mirrorless cameras as well) Great for wide shots, portraits, low light. I like it better than the 50mm because it allows you get in a little closer as the 50mm is such a close focal length. This makes it a great alternative to use indoors.
A big selling point of the lens is the 1.4 aperture. Lens is GREAT in low light and the bokeh quality is very pleasing to the eye. The only drawback to the lens is the weight and size. This is a big lens and sort of unbalances the weight of the camera body when used together. Other than that, the lens is solid and the craftsmanship is definitely there.
Focusing does seem to be a tad bit slower than the Sony Zeiss lenses such as the Sony Zeiss 55mm 1.8.
All cons aside, this lens is phenomenal and a great alternative to the Sony Zeiss Distagon 35mm. It fulfills all of my needs without the hefty price tag.
