This thing is worth every single penny. It creates stunning images with that incredible shallow depth of field that f/1.4 brings. The bokeh is swirly and gorgeous. It’s pretty heavy (due to all the glass) and there can be some focusing issues on some models, but you can’t beat the quality of images it produces, especially on a full-frame body. Love it!

I am a pro photographer and recently started using Sigma prime lenses. Yes, this lens is a beast but oh does she give you beautiful images.

Overall the lens is great. But the shipping process was terrible, it took four weeks to get this lens. When I bought it it said 2 weeks at the two weeks it got delayed and then took another 2 weeks before I got it.

The lens itself is awesome. Best Buy extremely slow with shipping. Lied to me about it being ready when it was obvious that it wasn't going to arrive on time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
