I use this instead of paying for Wi Fi service at our little "getaway" apartment by the beach. Sometimes it works well but sometimes it doesn't. The "high speed" data when purchasing a day pass gets sucked up quickly & then watching anything on a smart tv is impossible because it will freeze. I have better luck purchasing unlimited high speed data by the hour which is one of their options.

I love it. The Solis has really helped me stay in touch with my Wi-Fi since I’ve been out of the country I’m able to stream and watch movies on it and to connect it to several devices. I really like this device. Even when you run out of the high-speed data it still functions really nicely.

Bought this hot spot for traveling to Japan and Taiwan for my entire family. We had Wi-Fi without problems while in both country. If you travel a lot and need to maintain connected & share photos with friends and family while overseas , this is a good hotspot to have.

I live in the country and thought this would be a worthy replacement for my horribly unreliable satellite internet, but I was wrong. It works ok for working from home and streaming movies (yay!) but because of cell carriers’ “fair use policies,” it’s unable to process large downloads, and I was unable to connect my gaming consoles to the hotspot. This is not mentioned anywhere on Skyroam’s website, and I had to contact customer support three times before I could get an answer about it, and even then their response was “it seems like it won’t work,” which isn’t exactly definitive... Their “solution” was to recommend that I pay for their pay-as-you-go plan, which offers full speed downloads at a rate of $6 per gigabyte. That’s just outrageously unrealistic if I’m downloading large files. I fully understand the limitations at play here, but some more transparency upfront would have been much-appreciated before I spent the money on this device and an extra $99 on the “unlimited” data plan. (Please note that because this device is pre-packaged with a free GB of data, you’ll either have to use the full 1GB or contact customer support to in-bundle it if you want to switch to the unlimited plan).

purchased to use while camping. connection quality was good and was able to use 1 device connected. any other connections would greatly slow down the system. do not expect blazing fast speeds with this. found that it was not even good enough to stream when settings were at sd quality and ended up having no use for it. it does work as expected and the daily global pricing was best option. i like that you can pay as you go so your not wasting money when not in use

This works really well. It finds a connection and connects within seconds. I use it to let the kids get online at the park. It also may be a handy helper if my internet goes down at home. I like it better than using my iphone hotspot.

Amazing device, my wife ran her computer for school work without a single hiccup for 5 days off the grid camping. We will be using this for internet services on all our future trips to keep up with my wife’s schooling.

I purchased a Solis Lite for a trip out too Lake Powell and I was blown away with how well it functioned. I've used a few other hotspots through carriers in the past and would ALWAYS lose my connection. I can honestly say I did not lose my connection once while on my drive from San Diego to Utah. Battery life was top notch as well, I used the device for a total of 6 hours on the road and got home with more than 80% left. Can't recommend this device anymore, very content!

I love my skyroam. It is very easy to use when I need to. I am a teacher and teaching from home due to the pandemic. I bought this because I don't have to buy a subscription plan also. The other day the internet went down in my home and I was able to buy a 24-hour pass that allowed me to have wifi for just when I needed it. The only issue I have come across is that you need to be fairly close to it. My children on the other side of a small house were not able to pick up the signal. All in all, I am happy to have it just in case.

This little guy is amazing. I love it! We use when we travel and even at home. I have even used it when I didn’t have good cell service to access my maps app.

This has done what I need it to do, and that is give me internet in more places. I like that it switches between carriers to get the best signal. I've seen it switch between AT&T and T-Mobile, but never Verizon. The documentation doesn't mention carriers at all. While the data seems expensive, you can buy it in blocks that don't expire with is great for infrequent use.

I've been concerned about hotel wifi when traveling in the US and Europe. So I decided to buy the Skyroam Solis Lite. It works great and connects quickly. Exactly what I need for travel or if there's a problem with my home internet. My phone and computers connect easily. And Skyroam has daily or monthly options for using it, at reasonable prices. Definitely recommended.

We own a transportation company and this little gem has been awesome. It works everywhere without any problems. It was a great investment.

The solis lite mobile hotspot worked very well for me. I used it out in the country side for a party. I am DJ and I needed WiFi for my laptop computer program to play music. Signal was strong the entire time.

two quirky things: if you want pay as you go bandwidth, you need to ask Skyroam first to lower you to US-only if you don't plan to travel outside of the country to save you the $3/GB (can't do that on your end), also if you have devices that are 5ghz and 2.4ghz, let the devices that only connect on one of the bands connect first, the device will then stop transmitting on the other frequency.

Has worked great so far. We are able to run all devices we need to and have so far found signal everywhere were have been.

This portable hotspot is just as advertised. I recently used this on a trip to the UAE and Egypt and it worked. Yes, it was not the fastest, but when you need internet, you will get it. International unlimited cost $99 for 1 month of service (with a speed cap at 20GB, after 20GB, you can use at diminished speeds). I look forward to have this in my international travel bag so I will have internet anywhere I go.

We actually bought this to use on trips overseas but during a recent internet outage at our house, we activated it with a plan for the US. I like that we can choose from many different options to pay for the plan that suits us best. For now we went with the 5G that never expires because we don't know how much we are going to use it. We can still add a plan when we are overseas. I love the flexibility. It was easy to set up the plan we chose and we have not had any problems with the connectivity.

We used our new Solis driving from Phoenix to Indy. It worked extremely well. We are very satisfied with our Solis and would recommend this product.

The device is very easy to use. It’s not expensive. It works great. Nothing to do but be sure to buy a special adapter to plug into the wall. You have to have one handle 5 V at 2 A. Most on most chargers only handle milliamps. But I found the correct ones on amazon.
