My wife and I love Simplisafe's camera system. So easy to install and manage battery replacements. The garage side of my house doesn't allow much sun where the camera was placed, so it was unfortunate that it wouldn't be solar-powered. The battery replacement is super easy and informs us of battery usage.

Contrary to some of the reviews, I found this new outdoor camera from SimpliSafe to be just what I hoped it to be. My home security system is SimpliSafe, and after a couple of years of experience with them and their products, I am still a happy customer. Before installing, be sure the battery is fully charged. If you don't already have the SimpliSafe app, you need to install it. When you have decided where to place the camera, the hardest part of the project, installing the magnetic mounting, begins... took less than 5 minutes. Attach the camera to the magnetic mounting...takes a second or so. Using the app, the final step is aiming the camera to cover the area you wish to monitor. The camera works as advertised. The wide range of vision and sharpness of view is excellent. Mine is mounted over the door to my raised deck. It shows the entire deck, as well as either side and into the tree line about 30 feet away. For a entirely wireless operation, it works great. Easy to install, works great, and competitive pricing makes for a nice package. For me, it's another great product from a brand in which I have total trust. Plus, SimpliSafe has excellent customer service should you need assistance on any products or service. I definitely recommend it.

I have seen previous people list issues with this camera (particularly on other retail sites). We have not had any issues to date. The image is comparable to other outdoor cameras; wifi connectivity and some "blind spots" do exist, however, we believe simplisafe will continue to support the product with updates. Has performed well during the low 20s degree temps we've had locally as well. Would recommend

Easy to connect and great picture quality. The sound is a little chatty but that seems to be the case with most of their camera equipment. Not a deal breaker though. Overall I’m satisfied with my purchase and already bought two more.

Great add on for my SimpliSafe system. I have hardwired cameras for most on my area and the SimpliSafe alarm system. I have added 2 wireless cameras for the hard-to-reach areas for complete coverage. Sad, we live in a time when it is necessary.

Works great and the quality of video is good. So far for me the battery last a month with very frequent alerts. It lasts longer when its not as busy. The monitor service is great as well, its $27.99 a month.

Great Camera. Easy to install. I wish they would offer a better solar power panel to charge it. I have not purchased the solar panel because of some bad reviews on it. Would like to find a 3rd party panel as a second option.

Easy to install, setup was even easier and it has a great picture with the ability to adjust the motion sensitivity.

The initial camera I ordered through Best Buy was defective. SimpliSafe replaced it within a week, and now the new camera is functioning very well. No issues. The only downside I've noticed is that I'm spending too much time looking a videos of neighbors walking their dogs or other non-relevant activities. The images is clear. We ordered this camera to supplement our video door bell since it does not face the street.

It uses rechargeable batteries which lasts for months before needing a recharge. Your system lets you know when the battery is getting low. It is easy to remove the battery and recharge in a matter of hours.

Having used another brand previously, we are very happy now with the lack of delay this system offers. Picture is clear. It goes off instantly. We are in an extreme weather area and the cameras held up amazingly.
