Despite having the solar chargers (which are not lose and unobstructed) the battery on every camera dies at least monthly leaving my husband climbing ladders to retrieve them to charge. We’ve also found motion detection for wildlife to be essentially nonexistent, even when we can clearly see bears or deer in our yard. We’ve spent more time troubleshooting than using the system.

This outdoor camera is a game changer. I can see everything no matter what time of day or night it is. I feel so much safer. I will be ordering one for the back of my house as well.

I have had this camera for about a week and it works pretty much as planned minus the trouble of connecting via live view. every 2 out of 5 tries I have to restart the app for the live view to come up. Overall the camera does its job with your 24/7 monitoring plan.

The light does not go on when it detects motion. Camera works fine. Easy set up and connection into SimpleSafe system. My understanding when I purchased this was that light was to go on when it detects motion. Clarification needed.

Easy to connect with my cell phone. Added a WIFI extender for longer range from router. Covers garage door and driveway, including packages left by UPS. I got the last one on the shelf at Best Buy when SimpliSafe was out of stock.

Easy install, Great price but hard to watch camera when connected to same wifi....

I’m used to the Simplisafe ecosystem and the quirks the wireless, battery powered indoor cameras sometimes have. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to connect to the camera and view the image. I have very high foot traffic in front of my house, and the battery lasts 3-4 weeks, but they make extra batteries, or a solar panel, if you’d like that.

We have had this camera up for a month now and LOVE it! It works great and the battery has only had to be charged once. Picture is good during the day and at night. Would def recommend.

I bought this to add on to our Simplisafe security system. So far, the camera / spotlight perform as described. Easy to install and maintain. I would recomment this item

Easy install, good clarity, but cameras are TOO SLOW. Sorry I purchsed them. Maybe its because they are battery only. Hard wire maybe faster not sure. Calling simplisafe to see if up grading to video recording will improve. Would try another company cameras especially for the price I paid for cameras and extra battery. NOT HAPPY.
