After reading a couple of reviews and listening to the test demo in the store, I bought a Play 5 and a Play 1 for two separate rooms. Love the sound; little of any distortion at max volume. Solid bass and clear in the higher frequencies. While they are $500 and $200 respectively, I think they're worth it. Easing into stereo with another Play 1, but first I've put it into a third room. These are easily the best wireless speakers and Wi-Fi is clearly superior over BluTooth.

I enjoy how easy it is to connect to the Speaker, and use it with online music apps. I also love how much bass this speaker has when playing music that have more low end bass in them. I just wish it was a little cheaper in price. I think there are a number of other ways to get the same if not better sound, for less money

I bought this PLAY:5 system a while ago and I haven't stopped listening since. The sound quality is ridiculously amazing. Depending on certain songs I play, it almost sounds like they're actually there. The Bass hits hard and the Treble is clean and rich. Now, I've compared this to the SoundTouch 30 by Bose, and the Bose seriously lags behind in terms of the richness of sound you get from Sonos. Plus, the ability to chain with other systems seamlessly is a huge plus. I will definitely be getting more Sonos speakers to liven up and enrich my home in pure, high-quality audio.

I bought this speaker for my husband's birthday. We already have Sonos speakersnin our home and this was an extra treat to add to the others. The sound is phenomenal! So many compliments. And now, the updated Sonos App is streaming Apple Music!! Great investment.

I read about the Sonos speakers but only realized how awesome they are when I listened to them at the store. Great bass tones! Plus I control the system from both my computer and IPhone! Love the Play5 so much, I bought a second one and will probably buy a third!

I debated so hard on this as I have two Sonos Ones that I love but I really wanted to up the quality and size of sound for music. I first bought just one in order to connect it to my CD player and then use just the one Play 5 in concert with the Ones for music but it just didn't cut it for me . I have two Play 5s with a sub and it is sublime for the cost, and sooooo easy to set up.

I just purchased two Sonos Play:5 (2nd gen.) speakers and am using them together to create a stereo sound (the setup is easy to do in the Sonos app). The sound of these speakers is terrific. There's a big improvement over the 1st generation Play:5... which I have, so I can compare the new vs. the old side-by-side. I like these updated speakers a lot. Not everyone will...but that's just how things are when it comes to speakers. My next Sonos purchase is going to be the new Beam...I think! Then maybe a Play:1 for the kitchen!

We recently had purchased a house and was looking for an audio system. I was introduced to Sonos by my son and quickly realized the sound quality it had to offer. The Play 5 is awesome with its 6 built in speakers. The range is great and the bass is unreal. I have also purchased the sound bar, subwoofer and 2 Play 1's for my home theater. I'm currently using the Play 5 as a standalone speaker for our media room. It fills the room with all the sound we need. I would highly recommend and will be buying another one soon for our master bedroom!

Thought about going to pick up another one of these but the single speaker blew my mind. Great sound and plenty loud. Very nice base too.

already own a play bar and a sonos 3. Added this sonos 5 to extend music all over the house. Love that I can control all the speakers from my phone!

This is the best sounding speaker I have ever owned and I have been around for many years and owned several amps and speakers but this unit is the best I have ever owned Was recomended by my adult son and 30 year old grandson.

Sonos Play 5 can be all over the house and the sound is very clear. My husband wanted it for Christmas and he loves it!

This speaker is excellent on all fronts. Really great build quality and the sound quality exceeds expectations. I am used to speakers from Mirage and Definitive Tech. This speaker matches up to those speakers in sound quality. Actually, the way this speaker doesn't use a passive sub/port like my other speakers to produce bass seems to result in tighter/cleaner bass. I like it. Sonos software is great - I definitely don't miss bluetooth at all. Love being able to simply press 'play' on the speaker to start my last played app - no device required.

This speaker has a great sound and is easy to use. The only thing that was cumbersome was the weight of it but that is about it.

Easy set up! Able to connect my spotify and sirius account with no trouble. Love this product. No wires and it sound fabulous in my condo.

Sonos speakers are the best system on the market now. Easy to use and sounds great. We also have play 1 which sounds great but this speaker takes the cake with crystal clear full sound.

I went best buy to buy the Bose wireless speaker system. there was and older couple with a sales person,getting a demonstration on the same speaker,so i moved on and was looking at the other wireless speakers and stumbled on the Snoso play five. that speaker blew me away and everyone standing near by. this is one of the best sounding speaker i ever heard......very pricey but worth it.......I keep checking all sales flyers every week to find any Sonos on sale . My houses sound system will be replaced with all Sonos ......Mike
