I was going to go with the playbase but after seeing the comparison with the playbar, I went ahead and picked this and I don’t regret it. This playbar is amazing and very easy to set up with the Sonos app. I am in love with it so far!!

Great quality sound. Works perfectly with my tv. Now need to get the subwoofer.

I loved the wifi instead of Bluetooth but I didn't like that u couldn't play you tube on it

I'm a wife of two hearing impaired my husband and daughter. My old surround sound system the always asking me questions, because her the voices clearly. This system they can not only hear, but no more asking questions. Nice family movie time. Definitely recommend!!!

Purchased Playbar with complete sound system. Easy to install and sound is perfect. I never liked Playbars till I tried this one and was blown away. Best sound ever. Music and TV sounds are out of this world..

When the soundbar is paired with other Sonos products with your TV the sound is stunning. This system is easy to set up for even the novice with your iPhone or iPad. You can also play music thru the system. Nice wireless option. I'm glad I bought the components.

So my reason for giving 4/5 stars is because for a $700 you kind of expect more! The sound quality it produces is amazing but it lacks depth imho. What you're really paying for is the technology to be able to add on, so as a stand-alone it's great but not amazing. Fortunately I did buy the sub and 2 Sonos One to add on, together it will blow your mind! My expectations were exceeded after I set it up and used the trueplay tuning!!

I recently purchased this for my living room and love the built-in Alexa features. It was the easiest electrical component I've ever set up. Literally 3 instructions. The Sonos app is easy to use. The only reason I did not give it a five star, is because the two surround sound speakers I bought cannot be configured in the Sonos app to provide louder rear sounds. The main bar is slightly overpowering. Overall great product and great price!

I was looking for a new soundbar and found something better. It has complete full rich sound.

This is my second SONUS and the wireless speakers are much better then BOSE.

The sound is nice. Better than the tv speakers. I like the music services. To really get high quality sound, additional speakers are necessary...Play 5, 3 or 1, and subwoofer. But I do like the bar.

I have been quite happy with the playbars performance. Although I have been having an issue with it not syncing with the dialogue when I play it with my Sony TV. I have read other similar issues, and I hope to resolve it.

I bought this sound bar along with the sub woofer from Sonos and couldn't be happier. The sound is great with music from Spotify but also sounds great as I watch The People vs. OJ Simpson. I can't wait to get more Sonos speakers to connect my entire house to the system.

One need only listen to the Sonos Playbar to hear the fantastic quality. Alone out of all the soundbars I investigated, Sonos delivers an improvement over the old computer speakers that I had been using with my TV. A separate subwoofer is sold, but since I live in a cramped space, I was pleased that the Playbar doesn't need it to still rattle the floors and deliver fantastic volume. Setup was not a joy, though. I was sold the Playbar without mention that it absolutely requires a network connection. You either need to hard-wire it to a router, which was not practical in my living space, or you need to buy the Sonos Bridge wireless hub for an extra $50. This was a very unpleasant surprise when I started to hook up my Playbar, as this was not mentioned in the Best Buy sales pitch, the general descriptions of the Playbar on the Sonos site, or anywhere on the box. Once I got the Bridge, though, installation was fairly easy and now I have the ability to wirelessly stream music from my various computing devices, so at least I got some extra features out of the deal.
