We chose this soundbar after a lot of research, and it didn't disappoint. It's not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. It isn't 'quite' 5.1 Surroundsound, but it's pretty close for our purposes, and the app is great, providing easy access to music from a variety of sources. We just bought some additional Sonos Play1 Speakers to add to the system in other rooms.

The sound quality during most movies was great as expected. However a few movies were not coming thru as loud as I expected. The app interface with amazon music leaves a lot to be desired. I was hoping it would be the same as the app navigation, but is a simplified version that is almost more difficult to work in, in my oppinion.

The best purchase i have made yet. Its wi-fi connected, so even if the tv is off i can go to my sonos app on any of my devices and play music from downstairs. Everything is clear. I love it.

The TV sound is incredible. It sounds like a surround sound system. It was very easy to install and connect to my music on my iphone. The music is exceptional and since it runs off wifi i can walk around the house and the mucosidad is not interrupted. Very happy i bought it. Would love to buy the wireless sub woofer but too expensive.

I purchased the beginning of my Sonos system & the reason 4 stars instead of 5, because the sound, even not yet "tuned" is great. However, I was lead to believe the TruPlay feature was available on both iPhone & Android but it is only iPhone. I understand the reason why but the information I was provided was not exactly correct.

Really enjoy my playbar. I've had it for about 2 months and so far so good. I live in an apartment, so it is great to know I can expand later or keep it quiet with my current layout. I play a lot of games and movies with it and a lot of Netflix. The WiFi use and only needing a bridge to link up the whole home is a very cool future, and having fewer cables is always a plus.

I had read reviews of how simple the Sonos system was to set up out of the box. I was able to get the Playbar and Play 3 hooked up to my network and Synology NAS in within 10 minutes.

I already have Sonos speakers so adding this to my new TV was a no-brainer. Connecting it to the TV with one optical digital cable was MUCH easier than the mass of wires required by my old surround sound system and the sound is much better. I am using SONOS PLAY:1 speakers for the rear set and the sound comes together nicely with no delays, skips, etc. The system also sounds good when streaming music with the TV off.

Sonos may cost more than Bose, but worth every extra penny. Our salesperson person had no idea how to integrate the Sonos into our current setup, but Sonos customer support is excellent.

Super easy setup and install. Clean lines and excellent sound. Definitely suggest the Subwoofer, and satellites if you can swing it. This was purchased for father wit ha new TV. My next personal setup will no longer be separate speakers and amps for cinema and gamin needs. Plays music well enough for my needs at 40.

This thing is amazing. Sounds great with very good bass from just a sounds bar. I used this alone for weeks and was very happy with the sound quality, design and ease of use. I thought not having a pysical remote would annoying but it’s totally not an issue when paired with the tv or for playing music. I did end up added the Sonos sub which only enhanced the Depth of sound even further.

The words on the tv always sounded mumbled and this speaker improved it 100%. My son had one and we always liked it so we finally purchased at an open box sale. We really like it.

This Sonos sound bar is a nice addition to our wall mounted tv. Easy to use and sounds great. We are able to stream music form iTunes and able to contol this soundbar for iPad, iPhone.

Excellent response from 9 speaker sound bar that is wireless, easy to setup and delivers a Hugh sound particularly when paired with Sonos play 1 rear speakers and a classy subwoofer.

First heard the sound of the system at a friends business and had to immediately do some research as I couldn't believe the sound quality that was coming from the Play1 as compared to all the other small wireless sound systems. I started with buying just two Play1's and then a week later I went all in and bought two play 3's, soundbar, and submwoofer...man is the sound quality great. My next buy is the Play5 for my office.

Recommended by the BestBuy staff when I was browsing home entertainment systems. I went to further review online that day. My initial choice was Bose. The sound for both systems is comparable. I selected the Sonos brand due to ease of set up, can be controlled through phone / apps, wireless, and the ease of expanding additional speakers in the future. Fit and finish is clean. Product is sturdy and appears well made.

We bought this along with two #1's and the sub for our bedroom A week later we bought another package for the livingroom, and a #5 in the kitchen. LOVE, LOVE LOVE THIS SYSTEM. SUPER QUALITY

I had purchased the speaker system and sub woofer and only needed the sounbar. So glad I bought it - it makes a total change to my TV surround sound system - easy to set up and operate

Set up was simple...connected app to my kindle, iPhone and computer. Works great! Set up instruction easy to follow app, step by step. Ready to listen in less than 10min; out of box :)
